We finished our meal and waited for about 25 minutes before anyone arrived to clear our plates and offer us dessert. By this point we were so frustrated and had basically lost our appetite so we declined dessert and asked for the bill. So the overall experience was not defined by the food, which is very good if a little pricey, but by the truly abysmal service. I have probably been to Noohn 10 times in the last 6 years or so, but I won't be returning again.

Dana who works there is such a sweetheart and directed us to their second locations just blocks away by foot. Besides having outdoor seating, there are plenty of seating upstairs (ones with swing chairs). Is it the best asian food I've had? not by a long shot... but you have to come here with adjusted expectations. Everything in Basel is super expensive, this is no exception. The portions are super small for the prices you pay. Add on top of that that none of the dishes really feel authentic and you are bound to be a bit disappointed. With that said, the dishes here are lighter than most of the other food in Basel... they have lots of veggies and some healthy options as well (again, healthy might = small portions in this case).
