What a gem of a boutique! I stumbled upon this little gift shop while wandering around Pittsburgh,…read moreand I'm so glad I did. It's the kind of place that immediately feels special -- warm lighting, thoughtfully curated items, and a vibe that's effortlessly charming. The owner was lovely -- super friendly, helpful without hovering, and so easy to talk to. You can tell she genuinely cares about what she carries and the people who walk through the door. Lots of beautiful pieces, including some unique European labels I haven't seen elsewhere. Whether you're looking for a gift or just a little "treat yourself" moment, this spot is it. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in town!

I really loved this store. I discovered it just walking by. Note that they are only open Tuesday -…read moreSaturday (at present, Nov., '22). There are a ton of lovely gifts to get here for others or yourself. Many are imports from France or Italy. I wanted to get multiple candles, but left with one candle, one really nice shoulder bag (this is what drew me here in the first place, as I had seen it in the window and returned when they were open), and a lip balm ahead of the chilly winter weather that has arrived! I will say the prices here are a bit high, but everything here is of very high quality, and in comparison to the manufacturer or brand websites of the items I purchased, the prices were actually very close in comparison. It also always makes me feel good to support local businesses that are creating the flavor of the city we live in.

They have done such a phenomenal job rehabbing that building. It sat there for so long and…read moredisrepair and I hoped they would do something. Now they have and it's a fun place to go shop, eat and drink. My favorite places in there are Novo Food Hall, Askin Brewery, Heibers, City Winery and Shake Shack. You can get something quick to eat if you lack time before an event at Shake Shack. They have great burgers. Novo is a great place to go and try out all different things from all different Asian foods from Japan, Korea and the Philippines. We've tried several different places and had lots of great dishes. If you need a drink and some good food to wash it down then Aslin is the place to go. They even have trivia nights which are lots of fun. I love going to concerts and City Winery is a fun spot to see a show because it's a small venue which has no bad seats. We have seen. Comedians and concerts there. If you pay in cash at the venue, you can avoid the fees. You can go there for a fun afternoon or a great evening with friends and family.

It is really fascinating how much this place has transformed from even just ten years ago. When I…read morefirst moved to Pittsburgh, there was basically not much there and now it is packed from end to end with a huge variety of businesses. There is a huge parking lot (paid) behind the entire building and there are metered spaces in the front. They often host events like outdoor fitness classes, farmers markets and car shows. It really is amazing that you could mini golf, get a facial, drink wine or beer, eat delicious food, shop for books or grab a coffee all within a small area. There are several cut through areas which make it more manageable to get to your desired location from the parking lot. The biggest downside to me is that I wish there were more local businesses. While there is nothing wrong with chains, the Strip is such an important part of Pittsburgh's history that I wish it contained more independent businesses and restaurants and less chains.
