I didn't actually mean to call into this bakery. We were walking down the street when all of a sudden (as is typical in this country!) the skies opened and it started absolutely chucking it down with rain, so we made a mad dash into the nearest shop for cover, and it just so happened to be this wee place.
It was quite busy and the staff seemed to know all the customers well, which is a nice touch. They had an amazing selection of food on offer - all we had wanted to do was grab a quick coffee while we waited for the downpour to end, but soon changed our minds with all this great food calling out to us.
I decided to go for a bap with bacon and egg, and was especially pleased with it as it only cost me £1.75
We ended up staying quite a while, and the staff were so accommodating to us, and as another reviewer mentioned, we never felt rushed to leave. Such a shame this wee bakery wasn't more local to me, or I'd probably be there all the time! read more
