Do you want to see shells? Well then THIS is your place! We decided to stop by & walked into an intense shell experience. They have SO many loose shells, shell decor, shells made into little animals, shell jewelry, & more! Many of the loose shells had a price range of a dime to under a dollar. It was all so organized with labels that identified names & where they were from. There was even a sign letting you know you could request a pencil & paper from the clerk to write down the names of the shells for your collection. Customer service was friendly & personable. Our purchases were wrapped up carefully.

This place has been around since before I was born, but any time I come to Morro Bay, I always stop in here for a look around. If you need anything shell related, be they just individual shells, or decor made from shells, they have got you covered.

    More shells!

All kinds of shells, decorations, and jewelry. Really good pricing on everything as well. The staff is also very helpful!

This store is probably one of the best souvenir gift shop to stop by if you ever find yourself in Morro Bay. Location: It is located at the intersections of Embarcadero St and Marina St. There is a giant sign in a shape of a shell, it is very hard to miss it. Parking: Street parking only. It can get very crowded on the weekend. I suggest going early or later or just park far away. Atmosphere: The store is like a shell museum. Inside you'll find all types of shells and from various international locations. The shop was so huge that I find myself to be at the store for literally an hour! The shells: They have everything from single pieces, to shell made animals, to shell night light, to decorative items. I was very fascinated by the variety. I also believe the best thing about this shell shop too is their pricing, I find their price to be extremely reasonable and they have all kinds of price range to fit your budget! I bought a couples of souvenirs I thought they were so cute! If you happened to be in Morro Bay, stop by and support the local business here like the Shell Shop. I definitely will be coming back here.

There's no place in the whole state (or west coast) like the Shell Shop. Extremely unique. Every time I pass through Morro I have to take a stop even to look around. They have the widest selection of species in the entire west coast, ranging from all over the world. For collectors, this is the biggest selection you will find. They also have cute handmade trinkets (pictured below) and gifts. Extremely affordable and reasonable for having such high quality items from around the globe. Plenty of parking as well, the parking lot is reserved for the Shell Shop only. Great service from the staff, very careful packaging of fragile items. Please stop by if you ever pass by Morro Bay, it's an unforgettable place!

Such a fun stop with a huge variety of shells. I recommend even if you just want to look around. Good prices and friendly staff.

When planning my Morro Bay trip, I made this place a non-negotiable because I was dying to see what the hype was all about! I'm so glad I stopped by because not only did I see the cutest creations, but also found the best souvenirs and gifts I could possibly get my hands on. Their selections are also massive and they have everything from shells to sea stars and night lights and so much more. I bought a few pieces of cut shells for jewelry making and also some of the other things like the funny turtle and animal creations. Nothing was overly expensive and honestly I feel like the prices wereI spent way more time in here than I'd like to admit but I enjoyed every minute of it.

This is such a cute shop across the street from the waterfront of the marina village. I remember seeing it a while back on my last visit but never walked in. If you love shells, you're in shell heaven. The vast and I mean vast variety and choices they offer are amazing. Shells that I've never seen or heard of are there. Of course all sizes and shapes. They also have jewelry as well which was beautiful. Not only she'll, but loads of other sea gifts throughout the entire store. A must visit if you want to bring a little morro bay back with you.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this shell shop. They have just about everything, beautifully displayed and with info on where all the shells are from. I wish I had more time in here, and I spent a good chunk of time!

Surprisingly, there was just one cheerful woman behind the counter (Paula Radke) who greeted us and immediately shared that she was both the owner and the artist. Her passion and personality seemed to radiate in the pieces of jewelry. We got to make our pick out our own stones and glass and she put them together in earrings and necklaces. There were also picture frames with glass pieces and other small pieces that decorated her shop. What was most impressive was the way she so quickly shared her experience of moving from one location to another and how fortunate she was to have this new shop in Morrow Bay. The four of us enjoyed her stories as much as we enjoyed her art.

We were delighted to find her small new shop tucked away beside the new Nautical Bean Coffee shop in Morro Bay. We were drawn into the shop by some of the vegan leather purses that were displayed in the window. They were so cute that we had to get them for future Christmas presents. We visited with a very personable Paula and looked at her beautiful glass, including vase,s bowls, a mirror, and a wonderful hand blown lamp . It's exciting to see this kind of beautiful work on the Central Coast and inspirational for all the bead crafters out there. Her individual beads would make a stunning necklace, and the small beads would make beautiful bracelets. Her shop is definitely worth a visit if you're in Morro Bay!
