Creature of habit me. We keep going back year after year when we take our annual break in Pembrokeshire.
The good news. This place is still a shed. It still knocks out flapping fresh fish dishes, homely cooked with a touch of love. It is still adorned with charming artwork and brick-a-brack. The service is still friendly and befitting of a shed. It still rests on the most wonderful old harbour complete with disused mine, and you can still walk off your lunch with a stunning jaunt along the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Oh, and you can still order your lobster and crab from the lobster and crab bloke 1 minute up the road and he will have it all ready for you (cooked if you're squeamish, live if you're a real man) by the time you've quaffed your fish and chips. Ah, and it still does the most beautiful fish and chips. Cod, Hake, Haddock, Monkfish, huss, all battered or crumbed to perfection.
The bad news? There is no bad news. It's far away from anywhere but that's not bad news. That's part of this special shed's charm. If you are within fifty miles of this place I urge you to go. read more
