Did a Yelp search and found Craig's reviews and gave him a call. I live 20 minutes away, so it was just a matter of packing my knives into a knife roll and dropping them off. (If Craig is in the shop, he'll sharpen while you wait, but he wasn't so I left them and got a call when they were done.) I am beyond pleased. I don't remember the last time my knives were this sharp. He removed a notch in my beloved cleaver. I brought him ALL my knives, 9 in total, and at $6/blade the price was right! He also will take your knives by mail (see his website), so you don't need to be in driving range to receive his excellent service. Check him out. Give him your knives. You won't be sorry!

I couldn't even cut an apple anymore. He put in some serious work and got them to where they should be and even better. I had two Japanese knives and 3 standard chefs knives (JA henckels, Chicago cutlery). I never thought I'd enjoy cutting with the Chicago cutlery as much as I enjoy the Japanese knives but that's how nicely he made them! I also got some great advice on upkeep, including adjusting some of my cutting habits and knife storage. Everything was returned nicely wrapped and in a timely manner ! Super responsive and great value. Will only be using him for sharpening going forward.

All 12 of the blades no longer worked. All of these blades worked prior to his sharpening them. I called to tell him, he hung up on me. Today I took my blades to where I usually use and resharpeded and they work great. They are an hour away. So it's hard to take them. Very unhappy, will never use the person again. Brought him 5 knives of various pedigree, 2 that were at least 40 years old but I use all the time, a favorite pocket knife that I could never get sharp and a couple newer ones. When I picked them up, they were the sharpest I have ever seen! Jeff's pricing is very reasonable, especially for the results, and he's a very amiable guy, which just adds to the experience.
