Such great service! I called Austin and booked for the next day for him to come to my house. That just needed a $100 minimum, which I easily could meet. Average price was around $8. I gathered all my kitchen knives, serrated knives, scissors, gardening clippers, gardening knives and Austin had them back in my hands in a little over an hour. Holy mackerel, the only thing sharper than The Sharp Brothers now are my knives! We all know how it is -- knife sharpening is easily one of those tasks that falls to the bottom of the to do list. Knives slowly dull over time and so we forget just how sharp they used to be. I finally took the time to get three of my oft used knives over to the Jack London Farmer's Market a few weeks ago. Razor sharp is about the right description. I cook a lot, but they're so sharp now I'm throwing in extra veg just to have more to cut! I've been meaning to write this since we got home with our knives. Austin took care of us at the Farmer's Market (20 minutes, while we shopped). Got the knives home. So sharp my wife and I both cut ourselves within 24 hours! Like, seriously sharp. Beautiful job! Took 9 knives from two households and all beautifully sharp now. One broken point reconstructed on a knife that had been used as a tool. Dropped them off and Austin had them ready to pick up in half an hour. During COVID--at least--he's working out of his place as well as the farmers' markets. I'd forgotten how great sharp knives are! 3 serrated steak knives sharpened in less than 20 minutes at the San Leandro Farmer's Market today! These knives have never been the best, and now they are sharper than when we first bought them! The man even sliced a paper to show us how sharp they were! Before they may as well have been butter knives. We're going back next week to get some more done. Was at Jack London Square as advertised and got exactly what was promised. My husband and I had our knives sharpened today and as I walked away I had a knot in my stomach... Like I was dropping my kids off to a strangers place. Not to worry AT ALL.
