The Focus experience allowed him the time and support to undo the super negative self esteem he had built up - well aware he was very different from his peers, but getting zero support from the public school because he didn't qualify: he got good grades and so "there was nothing they could do." Focus is able to truly get to know each student so thoroughly - to celebrate their quirky selves, and push them just enough to grow, but not send them into overwhelm. Jeannie has been my tutor for three months now and I learned more about the Korean language then I did when I was trying to learn by myself. I took the PMP boot camp during the first week of December. Patti Layne was my instructor and while…read moreit's a very long week of learning, she was awesome at teaching the material. I see why it's called boot camp, I was drained at the end of each day. Patti provided several helpful study techniques and also showed us around the website and all its tools. I actually did not pick up my study material for over a month after camp. I started studying again about a week before the exam which I took in mid-January. While I don't recommend this approach (I'm a crammer!), it worked for me and I passed the PMP with flying colors. I would not have been able to grasp all the material on my own, at least not in the few weeks I put towards learning it. I'd actually say this boot camp over prepared me for the exam and I'm am gladly applying what I learned at work.

Hopefully, they eventually go out of business or get reported to the board. Playing ringing phones over and over in an echoey bathroom for a child with extreme noise sensitivity "to get over it" is child abuse and that is just one of the many things they did to our child. An audiologist later confirmed it was not a behavior issue but a medical one with auditory processing disorder. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Run as far as you can from this place. The owners need some ABA themselves to get some insight into the way they treat people.
