Oh man who would have thought destroying a chair and smashing plates would be so therapeutic. We went here with a group to celebrate my cousin's birthday but this place is more than just for celebrations, it's also a legitimate outlet for dealing with anger and anxiety according to the ladies who helped us out. We had a great time here and felt safe thanks to all the protective gear they provided. Also cool that they provided speakers to jam to your fav tunes whilst destroying all the things.

    Before the destruction!

We had a good time. The store front is in an older shopping center. I pre paid and scheduled the session online. We arrived at our designated time, we checked in with the front desk, they lead us inside and we intentionally wore shorts for comfort but for sure wear closed toed shoes. We purchased the suits to keep everything off our clothes, I will say I somehow got tiny pieces of glass in my hair from stuff I smashed so I think the helmet my husband choose or wearing a hat next time would be better! Then you put on gloves, and eyewear or the helmet thing, and lastly you choose your weapons. I do think they need to replace the some of the weapons they had were worn out you could choose two weapons and change them out if you wanted to. Weapons included high heels, baseball bats, sledge hammers, frying pans, tennis rackets, hammers, tire iron, crowbars, pipes and other stuff I can't remember. Cost for two was $162.38. I will say I expected more stuff in the room to break and a little bit larger of room but we were told we could move into a larger room if it was an issue it all worked out ok we did bring an old lab top and an old iPad we broke also which weren't functional anymore, but it was fun I didn't care for breaking glass but my husband loved it! I did have questions and called the the day before and they gladly answered all my questions and helped me out with a PayPal issue. Thanks for a fun experience.

I used Smash Therapy for our work team-building/after-work event and I Highly Recommend them!! Great way to relieve & release life's daily stress. Would recommend for a date night, bachelor/bachelorette party, etc.

Me and my husband had a blast!! 20 minutes to destroy everything with unlimited "weapons" while blasting our choice of music! The guy and girl working today were so friendly and made us feel right at home! They even let my husband use his personal war hammer. They are also very reasonably priced compared to other similar venues in the area. I highly recommend for stress relief and just fun!!

I attended a team building event for work at Smash Therapy and it was amazing! An hour was more than enough time. We were able to break bottles, furniture, picture frames, a toaster oven and computer just to name a few. The owner, Jennifer, was really accommodating and welcoming. There was plenty of parking and the business was easy to find. We fit 7 people in one smash room and everyone had plenty of stuff to break. It was a great stress reliever! They have a bluetooth speaker so you can play music while you're breaking stuff. One of my coworkers had on a pair of capris pants and was hit with some glass on the leg. She was fine but I definitely recommend wearing the protective jump suits that are available. There is a window in the smash room so those who weren't participating can watch. It was a unique experience and I will definitely be back!

I wanted to do something for my birthday that was out of the norm. Something that I knew wasn't typical. I originally wanted to go Ax Throwing, but the location was only accepting parties of 10 or more, and since I wasn't trying to be let down by last minute "sorry I can't make it", i decided I better find something for just myself. So after the ax throwing thing didnt pan out I ran across Smash Therapy. I immediately thought this would be a great way to spend my birthday, releasing some pint up frustration and getting cardio in. When you first arrive they explain everything in detail. Such a relaxed experiment for what transpires inside of the rooms! I'd definitely recommend coming to Smash Therapy. You'll get goggles or a face mask, a body suit (3$ - can't beat that). Go enjoy yourself and let off some steam!

An amazing experience! Jennifer was there to meet us and had the room set up and ready to go. The Bluetooth speaker made it easy to play our own playlist. It was my first time and I thought that 20 minutes would be too long, but no, it flew by! I will go back again for more Smash Therapy!!

This place was amazing!! My friend and I booked an hour long session due to needing some serious therapy. Walking in the owner was so friendly and welcoming. Rules were simple and she provided us with plenty to destroy. Afterwards we got to write whatever we wanted on the wall for some closer. I highly recommend this place.

But that's not what we got. We enjoyed our time together bc we're happy to see each other, HOWEVER, one thing that we all agreed upon was that we were quite disappointed in the hands-off approach. In previous ones that we have done, there's an instructor at the front, guiding, you step-by-step through the process of painting the selected piece. They typically helped you find the correct blend to make the colors. Guided you through how to correct mistakes... very hands on and active. The reminder email received even says, "You're going to have a blast with our artist-entertainer! No experience is necessary to be expertly guided in creating memories, not masterpieces." And this is NOT what we got at all. Neither expertly guided nor entertained. We got step-by-step written instructions that were vague and everyone abandoned reading them at all. We didn't make a scene but did verbally express our chagrin and confusion that the instructions weren't clear, but it fell upon deaf ears. Our youngest attendee, a 14-year old, even painted the instructions page black to show her frustrations with it. There was "encouragement" - every few minutes our babysitters would walk by and say "that looks great" but when asking for help, one said they could help, but then did nothing, and the other helped after some pleading bc our friend really wasn't happy. Finally, of our girls gave up altogether and didn't finish hers at all saying, "I'm having more fun talking to my friend." I don't know if all places are like this now but if so, we will not do anything like this again. At the end when we were told our paintings turned out so well (minus the abandoned one) we mentioned that in others we've done, there was a lead and more help. The response was that this was a "workshop" and since there were multiple projects going on in the room, it was an independent thing. So be aware. This was something we could've done in our own home for half the price. Update: The owner reached out to me and pointed out that on the purchase page it did mention a printout would be given (see attached photo). However, the personalized event email to me the day prior said "expertly guided." So to me this would be the most updated info to pay attention to. After conferring with the other attendees we felt it fair to update from 2 to 3 stars. I firmly believe that this isn't the norm and should have been more emphasized. Additionally, we didn't feel it deserved 4 stars because as open as we were about making it known that we were not understanding the printout instructions, we still didn't get and "expert guidance". Had we gotten help, the other detail could've been forgiven.

I have never visited OTS and since I know it's so close by, there may be a trip here more often. Even though there is a class calendar that shows what the painting will be for the night, it's pretty much up to you if you want to paint it or not. Unlike other painting places, there is not an instructor that holds your hand and tells you step by step how to paint. The different types of paintings are printed out on small pieces of paper which you use for inspiration for your canvas. For instance, tonight's painting was the Texas Flag. At the front desk, there were many variations of the Texas flag that you could choose from. If you aren't digging those, you can choose other painting inspirations on the wall. In tonight's class, everyone was doing their own paintings, at their own speed, and at however they wanted to do it. I was very nervous when I began painting because I am used to seeing how the teachers paint and copying them. I just had a picture of what I wanted to paint, and I had to figure out how to do it on my own. It was nerve wrecking but awesome at the same time. The instructors were very friendly, came by often, and gave us tips/techniques on how to make it better. It is BYOB. They provide glasses and some light bites that you can nibble on throughout the night. The Drunk Artist is family owned and their gorgeous dog walks around the place. We have been there before and this place is Absolutely Beautiful and the Food is Delicious. We rented out 'The Audrey', which is a Private Dinning area and Private Theater with those comfortable seats you can lay back in and enjoy the movie. But first, a little about 'Star Cinema Grill'. When you first walk into this place you are amazed at how Beautiful it is. The approach to the Ticket Area is Very Impressive. They even have Mask for those that forgot theirs - and their Entire Staff wears a Mask. Next is the Bar/Dinning area that is AwesomlyBeautiful. At first look you think you're on a Cruise and aboard a Very Beautiful Ship. Everything about this place is Elegant - even the walkways to each Theater - and the Restrooms - Yep, even them. My Wife said that she has a dress just like the carpet here - sure glad she didn't wear it last night, I might not find her. Now, back to the review - The Audrey Dining area was set up with separate tables for each couple social distanced apart. The Manager, Colleen, met with us and we went over the evening. Everyone arrived on time and MJ, our Private Server, took our drink orders and returned pretty quick with our drinks. I'm having their 'Frozen Jack-N-Coke' and my Wife is getting their 'Texas Mule'. F.J&C is my Favorite Drink and when it arrived I was totally impressed as to the appearance of this drink - it was Fluffed Up above the rim of the glass. This was a Pretty Good Drink and the taste of Jack - and it's Fluffed Up. My Wife enjoyed her 'Texas Mule' and had a couple of these during the evening. MJ, our Server, took all our orders and placed them electronically. Their Menu consist of 'Previews' as Appetizers, 'Feature Presentations' as Entrees (along with Pizza and 'Green Screen' for Salads) and 'Closing Credits' as Desserts. They also have listed 'Kids Corner' for the Kiddies. The other side of the Menu list all the Drinks they offer - and there is a lot of them with Very Cool Names, along with 'Classic Candy' and 'Quick Flicks' (Popcorn, etc..). They also have a lot of Draft Beers on Tap - that's always good to know. My Wife ordered their 'Love Me Tenders'; Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenderloins with Seasoned Fries, Texas Toast & Country Gravy. I am having 'The Godfather' (Pizza); Sausage, Pepperoni, Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Tomatoes and Cheese. Note: They make their own Crust here and you can also have their Cauliflower Crust. While we waited for our food we chatted and enjoyed our drinks - and I really enjoyed my Fluffy-Frozen Jack-N-Coke. This was some Good Stuff. Soon, and I mean Real Soon, MJ started bringing out our food. My Wife's 'Love Me Tenders' look really good and their 'Presentation' is Beautiful. My 'Godfather' also looks Very Yummy and it was. Nice Fresh Flavor of Everything and the Crust is Lightly-Crunchy-Liciousness. Everyone enjoyed their food and ate all they could but due to the abundance of food on each plate and there were plenty of To-Go-Boxes prepared. You get a lot of Deliciousness at Star Cinema - but I ate all of mine because that's what I do. 'Star Cinema' provides you with a list of Movies to choose from for your Private Showing and we choose 'The Personal History of David Copperfield' based on the 1850 Novel 'David Copperfield' by Charles Dickens, which is Very Interestingly Done Different-ly Movie you will ever see - or something like that. You also can bring in any Movie you want on DVD (except a Disney Film) and it will be shown on the Big Screen for your Private Groups Enjoyment. When Dinner was done, we took our seats in the Theater section of 'The Audrey' which has those Plush Seats and more. They also offer Blankets for you to wrap up in if that's what you want - and a lot of our Group did just that. This place really goes all out for Customer Service. My Wife and I grabbed some seats and opened up our Popcorn Boxes that they provided for Everyone - and started enjoying the Coming Attractions and the Popcorn. This Popcorn is pretty good. I'm not a Popcorn Eater per-say but - I finished off my entire box half way through the movie - It's That Good. We enjoyed the Movie and it's Delightful Weirdness. Our Server stayed with us the entire time providing the Best Service you could get anywhere - and this is at a Theater. The 'Star Cinema Grill' offers the Best Service along with Delicious Food in a Very Elegant Setting. They also have $5 Tuesdays for Movies and offer Special Drinks on various days for only $5 - such as the 'Texas Mule' on Thursdays along with 'Craftmans Boch' - a Very Dark Beer that some of our Group enjoyed - and did I tell you I enjoyed my 'Fluffy-Frozen Jack-N-Coke? - well, I did. Check out the 'Star Cinema Grill' on Facebook and on-line - They are Awesome - They also can Delivery your Food Order via Grubhub directly to your home or office.
