Nancy is nothing short of AMAZING. I have been seeing her for 3 months to work through my recent divorce, and I have gone from feeling "stuck" & fearful to feeling liberated and excited about my future. Nancy is an amazing listener. I've been seeing Nancy for about 18 months now, and have transitioned from a trainwreck to an actual successful person. I'm dealing with bipolar II disorder, and have seen several therapists throughout my life, none of which I've liked very much or actually connected with. However, from the moment I stepped into Nancy's office on my first visit I felt this actual link form with her that has only grown with time. I must warn you though- she is not a coddling, "how-does-this-make-you-feel" sort of therapist". Like Erica said, Nancy will give you outside work to do for your issues, and while this work seems hard or next to impossible, it ALWAYS helps. She does empathize with people- she has been through A LOT in her life- but she will make you work to get better because she truly does want you to get better and succeed in life. I have been seeing Nancy for about a year now, and I absolutely love her. She gets very busy and some times does not have availability for new clients, but when you are a client also busy she does everything she can to accomdate your schedule. I have even Skyped with her to be able to have a session with her. She has really helped me a lot, and I definitely feel like I'm becoming a better person because of her. I am sad to say that my frequency of visits have been reduced because I have improved, I'm just sad because I can't see her as often. I really enjoy the hour I get to spend with her. She is honest with you and shares stories of her personal life with you to relate with you. And it makes you feel more comfortable talking to her and listening. She is always on time, and she can even set up text message reminders for you. I absolutely love her, and would not go to a different therapist.
