I'm always wary of 'used' goods stores because they can be very junky! This store seems to be the…read moreexception. Their inventory seems to be well-thought out purchases and the store is always changing because the inventory changes that rapidly. They tend to focus on items that are either collectible or on the higher end. I would never mistake this for an antiques store (over 100 years old), but they definitely have a fun mix of collectible, vintage and modern items to choose from. Now for the owners. I've only met the gentleman and I'm always a bit of a sceptic, but he is very kind, genuine and completely won me over. Full disclosure: I just bought a gently used couch, recliner and mattress from him. All of that cost me just under a $1k. The furniture is leather and the bed is on the lower end. Spending that much cash at once was hard (I'm a teacher!), but he walked me out through the store out onto the sidewalk and when I went to shake his hand, he said, We're huggers around here. Sweet and awkward! :-) and the furniture looks amazing in my new house. I don't consider it the store owner's job to know a piece's history. It really is buyer beware, so do a bit of research and see what things are going for on the open market and do your own comparison. As for me, I've got my eye on a charming lamp that will look great with my new furniture set. FYI: The store allows you to do layaway as well. Who lets you do that these days????

Justin worked with us to confirm the height of our bed and headboard, the dimensions for our nightstands, and the dimensions and specific design of our dresser. We're very happy with the result. Prices are fair for the quality of the work. We have been very happy with the craftsmanship. The custom nature of these orders means there is a wait time, but we were in no rush and were very happy with the products we got. I will highlight that we specifically asked about low VOC finishes and were assured that's what they use. When our bed arrived, it had no smell. Our dresser does have a very strong smell and it does transfer onto clothes still, even though we aired out of room for a day after it arrived, wiped it down, and it's been 4 weeks now. White glove delivery was also included and both times (it was two separate orders, months apart) the delivery people were professional and were careful about placing items where we wanted, and not damaging anything while entering our home / navigating stairs and tight corners.

I hired Makers Woodworks, based on a recommendation. Garrett & Justin worked closely with me on the chair design, wood selection, and other project details. They regularly updated me as the work progressed. The chair turned out beautifully. It not only looks great, but just as importantly, it feels great to sit in. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and their attention to detail is obvious. The project was completed on time, and for a very fair price. I couldn't be happier with the finished product, and with my overall experience. I would hire Makers Woodworks again for other projects, and recommend them to anyone looking for high quality, custom wood furniture from experienced craftsman who stand by their work.

Listened to the car check in next to me, before someone came and checked me in, and said it'd be an hour. Again, listened to the guy check in the new person that had pulled in while my wife was getting out. We left, and did some errands. TWO HOURS LATER, we come back and are told they haven't even started yet. We didn't have all day for terrible service so we just left. As I walked to my car there was a lady pulling up to ask about service time. I warned her that they were terrible and she should go elsewhere. The guy that was checking her in asked if I had had an appointment, which I didn't, and then proceeded to tell me everyone else did and that's why I had to wait so long.. I told the guy he was lying because I heard the people being checked in and he just said "have a good day". Awful service, poor business practices, and dishonesty.. there's a jiffy lube right next door. Go there and avoid this awful place.

Walmart Automotive Dept. Dallas, OR…read more I've not had issues with the wait on service in Automotive in the past. Today, that changed. While there was only one person staffed and he informed me that it would be a bit longer than usual, I was the first car there at 7:45am. I arrived for an oil change and to have my tires rotated/balanced. It has been two hours and I've only just received the text stating that my service has started. After calling and speaking with Automotive to verify this, I was told that the oil change was still happening (nearly two hours after having dropped off my car) and that it would be at least another hour. I can't, in good faith, recommend this location.
