What many don't know is that when you hire a "mover", you often have NO idea who will actually be moving your items. I learned this the hard way by going thru the process of finding a moving company to take us from LA to Denver. You call a number, it's a dispatcher. Then another person calls you to do inventory. Then another person calls you to talk about the move date(which by the way, was a min. of 7-14 days that they "needed my items" - I'm sorry....what? It's a 16 hour drive....why do you need my stuff for 2 weeks?!?!). Then another calls you regarding the contract. Before you are done, you have spoken to 5 different people and keeping who is who straight becomes very challenging(remember...you are in the middle of a move!). Enter Lauren and her Pearl Concierge Services team. They are the company from start to finish. No dispatchers, no 3rd parties. They have their own trucks and do the moves themselves. Lauren's team is professional, caring, honest and trustworthy. I feel like finding them to do our move was a gd send! From the 1st meeting, I knew I was in great hands. I can't recommend them enough!

Military discipline applied with white gloves to tame your toughest moving challenges…read more We had a 4 BR house full of unpacked stuff to move across town--with a tight turnaround. Main challenges included getting a large and heavy custom-built dining table out of the first house with tough angles, getting large furniture items up an inconvenient spiral staircase in the second house, and packing a ton of little things that annoyingly don't fit well in a box. In the past, this would involve providing my buddies free pizza and beer over a weekend (and a moderate amount of pizza- and beer-stained furniture, scrapes / bruises, and broken knick-knacks), but we all have kids now, so professional help was needed. Emphasis on professional: the team showed up and it was clear each team member knew their roles, objectives, and timelines. They all appeared to have specializations as well: the drill sergeant, the fragile-items packer, the tetris master, the clean-up artist, etc. Day 1: cabinets were thrown open, packing blankets were unfurled, saran wrap was flying and all our worldly possessions had turned into a pile of well-labeled boxes by the end. Day 2: furniture and boxes disappeared into two trucks and reappeared neatly on the other end in the rooms corresponding to their original rooms of residence in the first house. We needed more time to really think through where exactly we wanted each item to go in the new house so didn't opt for the unpacking services (although they offered helpful placement suggestions all along the way). Somehow, they got this all done with time to spare and under budget--so much so that the price ended up being comparable to quotes we had received from non-concierge budget movers. Super-friendly people too. The kind you could share a (non-obligatory) pizza and pitcher of beer with.

I thought I'd take a chance on a company that didn't have any reviews... big mistake. I had asked…read morefor a quote for oven cleaning... that's all I needed and the owner responded $35. While everyone else quoted it an extra $25 with a $100 minimum, I only needed my oven cleaned. I'm pregnant and don't want to deal with cleaning fumes. My house is already clean. I have guests coming tonight to stay for 3 weeks, so his was the best time to do it. So on Monday we set up a time for today at 10:30. I gave her my address and phone number. So because I've been preoccupied for a week now I never got to follow up with the owner until 10:18 this morning. I get a response saying: let me call the lady. And then 2 more messages saying, "she might be stuck in traffic" and "as soon as she answers I will let you know". So I thank her. An hour passes by and I text her asking her if the cleaning lady is still coming. And owner responds with "sorry I can't find her. I don't know what happened to her. I apologize." And then I respond with "so can anyone cover for her", but I haven't heard from her since then. This was more than 4 hours ago. While I know sometimes, stuff happens and a job can't get done, the professional thing to do is to at least inform me. I work in customer service so I know what I'm talking about. 1. Owner should be keeping tabs on employees. Making sure that they're reminded of their jobs. Strike one, had she followed up at least an hour earlier with the employee, I could have been told that the person wasn't available anymore, or they could've found someone to cover for the person. 2. Strike 2, Owner should at least give maybe half an hour to inform me that they haven't been able to reach the person. I had to ask after an hour. So now the question is, would the company have even let me know? 3. Strike 3, When I asked if they were going to send someone to cover for the person, the decent and professional thing to do was to just say yes or no. I had things to do today, if I was informed that the job wasn't going to get done today, I could've done other things. I worked my schedule around the oven cleaning so I can at least be at home. Thanks for nothing.

From the very first phone call, I felt completely taken care of, understood, and supported. The team was warm, professional, and incredibly organized--every step of the process was handled with white-glove care. My project manager, Briant, was an absolute gem--communicative, proactive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. The moving crew worked with remarkable efficiency, packing and loading everything in just a few hours while treating my belongings with the utmost care and respect. They even handled the transfer of my car and liquor collection, which was such a relief and made the entire process seamless. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, and I never once had to stress about logistics or timing. By the time everything arrived in Chicago, it was clear that I had made the best possible choice. If you're looking for a moving company that combines luxury-level service with genuine human care, Greystone is it. I can't recommend them highly enough--and I'd absolutely work with them again in a heartbeat. And they even sent me flowers once I was settled in!

However the idea of packing up and leaving when we had barely finished UNpacking was particularly onerous. I fantasized about having a magic genie come over and make the move for us. I KNEW that would be impossible. However, on a bit of a lark I looked up full service movers and ran across Greystone. I contacted them thinking I was out of my mind, but within a few days I had my genie(s)! We met them at our house for a walkthrough and the next day a crew of very professional and pleasant guys came over and started packing. We got in our car and took off for the airbnb we had booked near our new home. That was it! We met them at our new house a few days later where they unloaded, unpacked and set up our new place. They even had hired a local gallery owner to come and hang all of our art. It was the easiest move ever and dealing with the Greystone folks made it actually pleasant! Who knew? Now you do! Don't hesitate to use this company. They were professional, friendly and respectful of our things while creating true convenience out of what could have been a very stressful experience.

I am so impressed!…read more Recently, I met the owner DeAndre at a networking function. I was intrigued by utilizing the services of a personal concierge, but had no real idea how to. As a volunteer of a Service Organization (Exchange Club of Culver City), I became accountable to produce a silent auction. Having never done that before, it was overwhelming and I realized that this was a perfect opportunity to use My Little Helper! De Andre showed up on time, dressed professionally/appropriately for the event. She helped me unload all of the items from my car and transport them into the building. She was quick, efficient and had a happy, easy going attitude the whole time. She was genuinely interested that I was satisfied. As the attendees started entering the room (early I might add), I was getting flustered by needing to attend to the guests and stop setting-up the auction. De Andre continued to decorate and beautify the setting...showcasing each auction-item and really going above and beyond! The cool thing is that I didn't even need to ask/tell her what to do. She simply had a knack for intuitively knowing exactly what to do without direction...especially awesome since I was under such time-pressure. The event was a smashing success and frankly, De Andre made me look like a rock star! Not only was I satisfied but I was amazed! The rate was extremely reasonable and I will definitely use them again. In fact, I've been thinking about a few tasks that could use some support by someone with such talent. Thank you so much My Little Helper! I'll be calling you soon!

Our bride had the best day of her life and this is due in great part to the impeccable service offered by DeAndre and My Little Helper. I would highly recommend DeAndre directly to clients or other planners in need of some seasoned team support. She ROCKS!
