Welcome to a veritable wonderland for crafters and artists. They inspire the imagination. I wanted to crochet a fidget bao or steamed dumpling for my daughter. I found yarn, poly fill and buttons plus 4 stamps and 3 stamp pads and put them in a nice pencil case for the hefty sum of $9. The place is beautifully organized!

Some cute critters I got for 1$/50¢!!

I LOVE Scrap exchange it's my favorite place to go to kill time and hunt for treasures and crafting supplies. They have the weirdest and most unique items there and I love it, that's what gives the place its charm. Everything his extremely affordable and I've gotten a lot of cool and witty t-shirts from there that I wear quite often. The staff are very friendly and while they tend to rush around and leave the check-out desk empty they are quick to rush over and take your payments. It's an amazing place to explore weekly as they are always cycling out items and clothing. 100% recommend this place if you pride yourself in being a thrifty and crafty person!

Excellent thrift store. As usual with thrift stores the men's clothing didn't really stick out to me. However, my girl friend had fun looking at clothes for herself. She came out with some pretty vintage clothing. I wasn't looking for anything specific but the store is actually pretty well organized. I came out with full set of Harry Potter movie series and a Google nest mini- that I use all the time.

You know, I didn't come here on purpose. I kinda had to to, multiple times. Long story. But having to come back week after week, month after month, you learn the charms of the store. The price, hell yes it's a steal. And I've have purchased a few pieces of brand new, beautiful kitchen ware here. It's not all junk, but you can make the process a fun one!

I absolutely love this place!!! I could literally stay here al day long. They have the coolest stuff here from fabric, supplies, crafts, apparel, any and everything you could think of. My favorite bin is the leather scrap pieces. I found some amazing pieces and it's .25 cents a oz. I can't wait until Saturdays so I can get my weekly fix. I always find some amazing gems

I stopped in here with a friend and even though I knew going in that this was an unusal type of spot, I was still somehow expecting the state of the shelves to be a little better. There is so much stuff here that frankly should go in the trash but I guess they're hoping that someone can save this stuff from the landfill. The space had a lot of items that looked used or in poor condition. I do think if you're exceptionally creative and thrifty and working on a very random craft project, this spot may work for you. I may have been better off going with a very specific vision than just browsing.

The scrap exchange is usually a hit or miss with clothes or any Knick knacks. It's a great place for books though.

I have used them twice now for private classes/team building projects and both time they were phenomenal. For far less money than what other chain art-creation-team-building-events asked, Art Post created a custom activity for our group and created a laid-back atmosphere that encouraged creativity but also socializing. I also observed a class with younger children and the teacher was patient and also encouraging of creativity with the kids. Overall, I was very impressed with their community outreach and artistic philosophy. They also host some really great outdoor markets on the weekend where you can find lots of great local art and music!

She also has a huge selection of crystal beads (actually crystals, not like Swarovski crystals, though she might have some of those in the bead room). She teaches classes, too, but it's a bit too far for me to drive. Would love to take them! We'll absolutely be back! Random observation: There are a bunch of 1 star reviews for this shop, all for the same reason of the store hours differing from the website. All of the reviews are from Yelpers with only one review, which I find highly suspicious. Pay them no mind, this is a wonderful crystal and bead shop that you shouldn't pass up!

Jason and Athena were some of the rudest, most unhelpful employees I've ever met. Actually, I shouldn't even call them employees because they were refusing to work. I'm sorry to write this review, but it really was that bad. We were having a baby shower the next day and I just needed a few balloons to mark where people should walk. We got there at 6:45pm, and the store didn't close until 9, so there was plenty of time. I picked out my balloons and went to the register for help. Athena first said she couldn't do it and told me to go to another line. Then Jason said he didn't do it, so I went back to her, and she again said she couldn't do it. Finally, Jason said, "Well, it's going to take us about an hour, so you probably should skip it." I only had 12 balloons. Not fancy ones, just the cheap regular ones. I asked why it would take so long, and he said they were short-staffed. Which, fine, I'd understand if there were other people waiting but there weren't. It was just us. I even offered to help tie the balloons myself, but he said no and kept repeating that it would take him an hour. He clearly didn't want to do any work. I told him I'd wait, and he sighed like I had just ruined his day and said "whatever." I paid for the balloons, but he never even started on them. I eventually just left with my unfilled balloons. Horrible experience. I'll be going to a different Michaels from now on.

Before she taught us how to make a lidded vessel, she gave us background information on clay and ceramics, which I very much appreciated. Some of the classes use a pottery wheel; our vessels were hand built. Ryan took us through the process step by step, with lots of visuals and assistance. The class was supposed to be two-and-a-half hours, but she was so efficient, and her instructions were so clear, we got out early. Our pieces need time to dry, and we'll be coming back another day to glaze them (or Ryan will do that for us). We'll get to take our finished vessels home in a couple of weeks. The studio is a mostly-open space that is full of student work and Ryan's own pieces. She teaches lots of classes there, including vase and mug making, and they fill up quickly. I was told on class six that my pieces were more than 1/2 inch thick and that they " had not been placed properly on the greenware shelf for bisque firing. Therfore, I will leave the$250.00 session class with no greenware ( bisque) or other finished pieces. During all wheel sessions student potters were also required only to work on wheels with bats. Prior in other schools we were not required to use bats or to meet only 1/2 inch specifications for firing.
