Me and Wife stopped by on the way home…read more Were in the mood for ice cream. She had a soft serve Chocolate cone and me a Hershey's Cookies & Cream. The Ice Cream was delicious. Ice Cream is tricky, especially The Hershey's Cookies & Cream, since it has to be stored at the right temperature. If too cold ice crystals will develop and make it more icy rather than creamy. Too warm and well you know lol. The Cookies & Cream was Amazing quality :) Both hers and mine (3 scoops) was about 6-7 bucks. GREAT PRICE. Since in NYC something like that would cost 12-14 bucks. A definite must visit.

Tons of flavors and types. Milkshakes, sundaes and even milkshakes with sundaes on top. I had a swirl cone (twist in the south). Wayyyyy bigger and better than anything the south. It was all I could think about after driving 1,000 miles. The employees completely lacked any semblance of personality but that didn't make the ice cream taste any less epic. Overall, parking sucks a lot and maybe the staff could smile once or twice. This location will always be a staple in Richford for many generations to come.

Stopped in on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend while in town visiting my parents. We were…read moredriving by and the kids (teenagers) wanted ice cream. Sign said open, lights were on and other customers were in their cars. It was 6:50pm. Kids went up to order and the man and woman working seemed very annoyed to have customers. My daughter came back to the car and told me the man said the "F word" as he came in to help with the ice cream. My son came back to the car and reported the same thing. Watching from the car, the couple seemed to also be having words with each other. My 74 year old father came back to the car and also said they were rude and seemed as though they didn't want any business. They flicked off their lights as soon as we stepped away from the window despite another customer approaching. This was about 7:04pm. I'm not sure why they have chosen such a joyful business if they don't have any joy to spread. I'm not happy that we spent our money there.

(Jul 2026) We had to try their ice cream bars: homemade lemon chocolate chip ice cream, with a coat of crumbled lemon cookies, half-dipped in homemade dark-chocolate shell! Clever and delicious! We also had a dish of homemade Blueberry Guava sorbet! Intense red-purple color and sweet frozen flavor! Great summer treats! We ate faster than they melted :-)

Cute seasonal ice cream spot in Ithaca!…read more Located in downtown- the line can get pretty long in the evenings- even on weekdays. Cash only so be prepared. I am partial to soft serve but have tried both their hard icecream and soft serve. I prefer their soft serve but wish they had more flavors. I tried the classic chocolate twist and the two berry twist soft serves. In the two berry twist, I didn't like the pink flavor- it was too icy and more like a sorbet/dole whip than true soft serve. I liked the purple flavor thought! Overall, I still frequent Sweet Melissa's for softserve close to Cornell! Would recommend!

My son and I shared the Cookie Monster - 2 scoops sandwiched between 3 big cookies with one topping. And public restrooms would be wonderful, especially for families with young kids.
