When I agreed to do the PRP treatment, I was told that their new cutting-edge PRP injection was so effective that it only needed to be given once a year. However, during my return visit after a few months, the secretary and the doctor started to backtrack, and they told me that there were no guarantees and that their PRP was to increase the volume of the hair I already had, not to regrow any new hair. This is NOT what they stated before I paid for the procure out-of-pocket. I'm not sure if PRP works through other doctors that do it in several sessions, but this doctor's new method is a ruse to steal your money. Avoid this place at all costs!

After gradually losing my hair from 2020 to 2025, I was convinced that I was going to get a hair transplant to restore my hair to what it looked like 20 years ago. In June 2025, I went to two professionals in LA and was told that I had very fine and poor donor hair. They both still wanted to proceed, but I knew in my heart I wouldn't get the result I wanted. I was devastated at the news. A year ago in November, I decided to shave my head. A lot of guys look great with shaved heads, but it wasn't right for me. I had heard about SMP so I watched a couple YouTube videos about it but thought could this be the solution? Could I really get a realistic illusion of hair if I couldn't have real hair? I was skeptical, but DESPERATE at this point because I just did not like the way I looked with no hair at all. After googling who the best SMP artist was In Los Angeles, I immediately made a consultation with Zang in April of 2026. He listened to why I was interested in SMP and was very understanding as I revealed how much my self-esteem had plummeted because of losing my hair. He was very confident and felt strongly that I could get a realistic result that I would be very satisfied with. I still was very unsure so I asked if I could bring a friend into another consultation to which he agreed free of charge. After the second consultation, I felt certain that if I were to have SMP, Zang was the best artist to do it!! I quickly booked my first two sessions in May of this year, the 2nd and 9th. After those two sessions, I wanted the color a little darker and the hairline a little lower to which he agreed so I had a third session June 6th. The results were coming along, but I collaborated with him, and we both decided to lower the hairline again (still to a realistic level) and make the hairline and sides fuller which he did on July 18th, my fourth session. My fifth session was October 3rd in which he added density and blended the whole head again. Even before I had the 5th session, already happy with my results, my ex, his sister and both nieces commented how much they like it. One of the nieces couldn't believe it wasn't my own hair! She just kept staring at it and said so that's not your hair. She said again so wait, that's not your hair? I had to let her feel it until she finally understood. My own two nephews and niece also thought it looked natural. The older nephew said it doesn't look all inked up like a tattoo. Now, my best friend who has been with me since the consultation and at every session always said it was going to look great as did Zang, and they were both right! They both encouraged me to trust the process which I have an extremely hard time doing. I like instant results. Like you get your hair cut, bam, it's done. You either like it or you don't. Not so with SMP. It truly is a process, and you have to trust that Zang will listen to your needs, offer his expert opinion and work together with you. The most unexpected but positive comment I got was from a dermatologist who asked me who did my SMP because he really was really impressed with the results. I told him Zang. Then he said again well, I like it a lot, and I have clients who ask about this procedure, and I need a good referral so could I have his number and address. That was an unsolicited 5-star opinion from a professional dermatologist who I had only seen once for my skin, nothing to do with my hair. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Zang SMP enough. I am very pleased with the results!! From Day 1, he was incredibly dedicated to and invested in the process of doing my personal scalp micropigmentation exactly right while I needed constant reassurance that all would be okay. He went above and beyond for me, providing five full sessions, truly working with me to ensure the hairline, color and density were what we finally agreed on.
