It's been almost a year since I started Robert's treatment. I completed his recommended weekly office visits, and I did notice quite a bit of hair growth to off set the hair falling. After the 6 month of recommended weekly visits, I opt for the home treatment because of the long drive from Orange County. I must say, I'm not 100% religious with the home protocol, probably about 60% effort only, and I still notice hair growth. So I do recommend the treatment Robert offers. I learned about this place through a friend, actually, Jenna P. that wrote the first review here. For many years I had been suffering a slow and progressive hair loss in the vertex area. It was horrible to take photos when out at night as the flash would just make me look like I had no hair. So I actively avoided those situations. I also believe in not using chemicals on my hair (stuff like Regaine) or anywhere in my body that isn't truly organic (that label is batted around so easily here). I was at the point of shaving all my hair off so when I heard about Evolution, I thought I'd give it a chance. I went for my free consultation and the consultant, Rob, was very knowledgeable, friendly and when we spoke about health matters that I knew about I could tell that he knew what he was talking about. This gave me confidence in the hair aspects that I don't know so well. He did a scalp check and told me that I was suffering, like many of us do, from too much DHT which is toxic to certain parts of the body - hair follicles being one of them. He put me on the level 2 program. The first month involved clearing my system, particularly my digestive system, of toxins. We should all do this as a matter of course and the great thing was that it was with products that I can buy myself and continue with after that month - which I have! This first month I felt amazing as the toxins got removed. At the same time, I was put on two low level light laser sessions per week, given an organic shampoo and cleanser, and a course of organic tablets that replaced vitamins and contained probiotics. It's now been only 4 months of the 9 month program and I have had a ridiculous amount of hair grow back. When I went to see Robert my hair was shedding really badly and my scalp was itchy. I had a scalp analysis and it was red and clear that my problem was stress. Robert is so helpful and kind and recommended some products including the tea, serum, minerals and shampoo and I've been using everything for almost 8 weeks and I've seen a great improvement. I saw Robert James about a year ago for some stress related hair loss. He recommended a helmet and some of his products. He explained how stress releases a hormone, which creates tiny puddles of fluid, which clog up the pores on the scalp and prevent the follicles from growing. He showed me what it looked like when he used the scope on my scalp. I have been diligently using his products and wearing my helmet twice a week for 25 minutes for over a year now. About 3 months ago, I came to Robert James clinic with a concern about itchiness and redness of my scalp and dandruff. Since my brother had psoriasis before and his symptoms were very similar to mine in the beginning, I was very worried and finally found the right specialist. The drive of over 1.5 hours up to LA to come to the consultation with Robert was totally worth it.
