    Great view that's all

Sadly all that is going at this venue is the view! Pre order pre pay after you find your table number get up repeat for another coffee or drink! Lack lustre pancakes overpriced more like pikelets dry just a sad attempt of being a destination more a tourist destination! Killer view of beach I get that is what you pay for co share beach toilets need attention! Never again sadly!

An amazing eatery with a literal on the beach style setting with views peering over the bay onto the skyline. This stylish and relaxed bar and restaurant is extremely popular during summer. I have only ever sampled from their snack menu, but can assure you their Trio of dips w warm Turkish bread $15, Bowl of Shoestring Fries w garlic aioli $9.0 Bowl of Wedges w sour cream & sweet chilli $12.0 were a great share idea to snack on and something to accompany a chilled sav blanc. Always a great spot to people watch and the beauty of its location means you can easily slink of the beach and be sipping on a cider in no time.

Beautiful saffron rice and generous size of garlic prawns with cream sauce

My husband and I knew we had to try Third Wave while in town, after seeing it pop up on our…read moreInstagram algorithms. We are both big fans of meat/BBQ so we were so excited to check it out!! As delicious as everything looked, we ultimately ended up splitting a BBQ platter for 1 with some pork ribs added on... and it was still sooooo much food that we left stuffed! All the meat was great, but we both agreed the pork ribs were our favorite. Outside of that, the beef rib and oink ball also stood out. One other thing that really stood out to us, was their sauces. They were fantastic! Not just what they use to cook their meats, but the side sauces. Nuclear wave was a nice habanero sauce with great smokiness and solid heat that paired perfectly with the meats. They have happy hour on certain drinks from open until 6pm on certain days, so be sure to pair a beer with it!

Such a blunt but exceptional approach worthy of the rating I gave it. Onion rings were crunchy and impressive. Wings were beuitiful. The sauce, in multiple occasions was at the perfect level, they didn't make it too strong. The big stuff was the most impressive. Despite its immense, Headstrong appearance the food was actually easy and enjoyable to eat and handle. Every single item was impressive apart from the bread, the buns. Which were boring. So you gotta use it to make a sandwich or something and make the most out of it. Wish I could of given the bubblegum milk shake a chance. Great atmosphere as well. Worthy of 5 stars. Worthy of paying the price that we paid. Excellent customer service. A wonderful experience from third wave Cafe overall.
