A Hidden Gem with Heart This was my first time visiting the…read moreHabitat for Humanity ReStore, and it was such a wonderful experience. A friend of mine is opening a small artisan consignment shop, and we were able to find amazing store displays--stand shelving, a bench, and several other pieces that helped create the perfect rustic yet chic, neutral look she was going for. The staff and volunteers were incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Parking is free, and I highly recommend going early during the weekday to make it easier to find a spot and less crowed. This place truly carries everything you could need for your home--sofas, bedroom and office furniture, bathroom items (from sinks to toilets), pots, home décor, light fixtures, shelving... you name it, they likely have it. They are constantly receiving new donations, so you never know what you'll find on a daily or weekly basis. Every time we thought we had found everything we needed, we decided to take one more look--and each time, we discovered even more great items. On top of that, it feels especially good knowing that your purchases support such a meaningful and worthwhile organization. If you have furniture or home items to donate, this is absolutely a place to bring them. I will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in--you never know what treasures you'll find!

I didn't find what I needed but got tons of help from the staff as I looked. They even lent me their tape measure since I had forgotten mine. Employee Jenn greeted me with freshly popped popcorn since they just celebrated their grand opening. She also mentioned that they have a moving company to help you transport purchases for those of us who are car-free. * friendly helpful staff * clean * large inventory * transport available

I'm not sure the place I went to is the same place that is listed here. I don't think it knows what…read moreit wants to be. We showed up around 11am. Lady was at the door, I am assuming she was the owner and said they were closed and to give her a few minutes. We give her about 15 minutes, we waited in the vestibule that is connected to the place. When we came back she let us in and said that they had a party last night so we might have to step over some things... partial understatement. She directs us to a white door and says that it goes all the way down. Found along the trail of stuff some cool converse...$30 -couple bucks more and I can go to DSW and get them brand new. Walking down the aisle (hallway) there's a dark room, intrigued and hoping to find some huge room, I search for the lights. Find 2 of the 3 without getting electrocuted. This room is the size of my living room and stuff is everywhere. If there is a secret lair of furniture somewhere, the lady was uninterested in us finding it. She was too busy cleaning up the party from last night... none of it made sense. It was pretty grungy in there all around, I can't imagine having a party there either. Probably will never go there again. The furniture pictures were a bit taunting. :( so damn disappointed.

My first time using Junkluggers and their teams were truly impressive. My condo was full of…read morefurniture and belongings--everything left untouched since I moved to the West Coast 10 years ago. I honestly didn't think it would be possible to clear it all out, but they made it happen. They worked incredibly hard, super friendly throughout, and communicated exceptionally well. I received multiple emails, texts, and calls to ensure everything was coordinated and followed through seamlessly. Although they couldn't finish everything on the first day because the truck waa filled up, they quickly arranged for another team to return the very next day and complete the job without any hassle. I'm extremely grateful for their help and feel like a big burden lifted off my shoulders. I would absolutely trust and hire them again in the future. 10/10!!

Our almost 20 year old spa needed to be 'put down' as the repair costs just weren't worth it, and…read moreso I looked online to see about having it hauled away. Junkluggers came up first in my Google search, and having a sponsored listing probably serves them well as there are a LOT of junk removal companies out there. The lady who answered the phone was gracious and gave me the 'no pressure' spiel and I was hooked. I mean, they come to the house, look at the junk, give you a number on the spot, and you either say yes or no without obligation. Pretty simple :) After receiving a phone call with an arrival time (professional and courteous) four guys arrived the next morning within the 2 hour window, all of them introduced themselves and shook my hand, and then I took them to the spa in the backyard. The thing was 7x7 and weighed a ton. After evaluating the situation, they gave me a number that was comparable to another quote I had received, and so I gave them the 'go ahead.' Knowing it was too heavy to pick up (having done plenty of other spas previously) they cut the thing into quarters using heavy-duty reciprocating saws that they had in the truck. It wasn't an easy job, as it was also raining, but they did it in about 30-40 minutes, cleaned up the area, and then bid me farewell with a personal check in hand. The communication via email and phone was great, accepting a personal check or credit card was convenient, and the whole process from answering service to appointment time to the pickup guys demeanor was all very professional. Highly recommended.
