It's a nice big store and sometimes you can find great items, but most of the time items are broken chipped and cracked. Shoes and clothes are as much as they would be new from Marshall's or TJs. No plush? Very few toys...How is that possible? And for the love of Pearl!! Get some carts. read more

During our move out of CT, my husband and I needed to donate quite a bit. We decided on this location instead of downtown Stamford because the other relocation didn't take any of our donations last time. This goodwill location took EVERYTHING and the employees were friendly during the drop off process. I've never been inside this goodwill but if you're looking to donate stuff, definitely come here. read more

This place is bombarded by tired and lazy workers, screaming children, forever 21 clothes and broken lamps. I've been here twice within 6 months and encountered the same vibe twice. Nothing ever looks nice. Everything looks worn, dated and to be honest, just basic and ugly. The chubby white guy at the cashier sounds like he's been working for 50 years straight. Talks super softly and tiredly. I can never understand him. If you're taking a day off from your kids to come here, just do not. There are always kids running around, screaming, and throwing things at one another. Their parents do not care and neither do the employees. Good for the occasional thrifing adventure. Plenty of floorspace and lots of parking. Stock always changes so it's good to come often. Much better than the West Broad Street store which has been scaled back since this one opened. read more

Who leaves a a bad review for goodwill? Give the place a break. It's Goodwill. the people that work their are learning job skills. good or not. Having said that it's a bit pricey on some items but seems like everything is expensive now so it all relative. large selection of clothes. some other items minimal furniture. if you live in the area it's good. i would not recommend driving more then 20 minutes to get here it's not that great. it is what it is. read more

I actually disagree with the poster below that ranks this shop poorly because they sell knock off goods. Being reasonable there are TONS of knock offs no matter where you look; be it E-bay, Poshmark, Mercari, or thrift stores. The counterfeit market is huge and I don't believe that people working at a Goodwill are qualified to assess whether something is a genuine article or a counterfeit, nor do I believe that they have the time to do so. That being said, even if it IS a knockoff - most of them are priced at $30 or under which is reasonable, considering that even decent knock-offs are going to be a bit more expensive than that. As for my own experience - I come here once or twice a week. I always find a decent selection of clothing, which they do their best to organize by size and color, and I find plenty of books, homewares, art, children items, etc. If you come on a Sunday or Monday they have two colors on sale for 50% off and if you spend more than $10 it's also another 5% off. So it's not a bad savings if you're saving and buy things of a specific color. Most of the people are friendly here, though I will admit there is a shady cashier who will sometimes look at the items that are being sold and if she thinks they are "boutique" or somehow "special" she will run back to the manager and try to have those items repriced to be higher. I don't think that's an acceptable practice. If the item is priced and put on the floor and someone wants to purchase the item AT THE LISTED PRICE it is NOT the cashiers discretion to see that item and try to have it priced higher. Again, this goes back to the people doing the sorting and pricing not being qualified or having the time to price things based on what they "think" they are worth. It's a secondary market, in any case. People don't go to thrift stores to pay retail. That aside, I like this location. The parking is good, the staff are helpful when there's a question, and I can usually find good books and clothing. It's not the best thrift store I've ever been to, but it's not the worst. This Location is overpriced and dirty. I have found blood stained clothing in this store and alerted the staff . The staff consist of a bunch of teenagers updating their Facebook statuses on their phones. The little Manager ( dont know her name) is obnoxious and unprofessional. She has nothing else better to do than walk around the store excusing people of stealing and whispering to the staff to watch certain people of color. A horrible location to shop during the COVID19. No shopping carts available. And if they do have any. you have to go to the parking lot and retrieve them.. This location needs new Management and staff. read more

I generally don't have a problem with Goodwill and in terms of facilities, this is one of the best I have been to. Spacious parking lot, huge shopping floor and clean, accessible bathrooms is usually not the norm for many Goodwills, but this location has it. So why the mediocre rating? The shopping is not very good. First and foremost, they sell replica/fake luxury goods and i mean obviously fake(i am no expert), many thrift stores do but when i told the woman behind the counter that a couple of things in the display case were not real, she laughed and said, "I know, I'm not going to buy them." It was funny at the moment but someone will pay up for these items thinking they are real. They also have a boutique jeans section that has many... American Eagle items. Huh? This location consistently has the best selection out of all the GWs nearby. The local Target usually dumps some of their unsold clearance items at this location so if you're lucky you'll find some really good finds. I usually don't leave empty-handed! read more
