The restroom is closed; a sign on the door reads "entry after payment." Even after paying for a…read morepurchase, staff members use the restroom themselves but refuse entry to customers, claiming it is out of order or lacks toilet paper. This has happened twice during different shifts--once on Sunday and again today. It is impossible to shop properly: the first time, I paid for some items just to gain access to the restroom, yet I was still denied entry. Furthermore, you aren't allowed to take items you've already paid for into the fitting room, so ultimately, you can neither continue shopping nor make a purchase. It was a thoroughly unpleasant experience: it's summer, you can't drink water, and you can't shop if you need to use the restroom.

She really cares about getting the resources the residents need. Also if you donate what they need , you are donating directly to the people who need the items. It goes on right on the table and they start taking what they want. After a frustrating first year of HRT, coming to AHI felt like a dream come true. Being transgender, there are not many healthcare facilities that are truly inclusive to the core. Many practices are well meaning and try to be LGBTQ+ friendly, but there's a difference between "trying" and "being". AHI is a multispecialty practice by & for the LGBTQ+ community, specifically. *That* is where you'll notice the difference. Respecting your name, pronouns, & your chosen terms for your body come standard here. No more reminding the staff every time you see them what's going on, because great care is placed in regards to respecting patients' identity. They're also multi-specialty. They offer inclusive reproductive care, primary care, informed consent HRT, PrEP, HIV/AIDS care, psychiatric services, an onsite pharmacy and more. It's super convenient to be able to have an appointment with my HRT doc or psychiatrist, then any prescriptions are quickly and automatically sent to their own pharmacy. The pharmacy does next day mail-order Rx through UPS. Getting prescriptions is super easy and painless, as is getting an appointment virtually or in office. Living close to an hour away from the actual practice, I do all of my healthcare appointments via telehealth (video). If I need to do bloodwork, they partner with Quest Diagnostics, so all I have to do is stop by a Quest before my bloodwork requiring appointment. Like I said, it's super easy to do. The staff, like I said, is extremely LGBTQ+ inclusive, and many of the staff are LGBTQ+ themselves. If you're sick of being treated as "less than" by your doctors, this place is worth a try. I guarantee you'll like it. They also take most insurances, including Medicaid.

The children interact, they're on the computer, there are children from all over, most importantly they are safe. There are classes for young and old, there is so much to do in there, you can even work out while your child is learning Tang Soo Do, now let's not go into the class because Master Jones, and their newest, grandest addition to the team, Master Ralph are the absolute BEST in what they do!
