I googled Bird Sanctuary near me and Liberty Wildlife Rehab popped up. Luckily they were open until 6, so we were able to make it over there. We took our little baby birdie to the rescue window. The kindest lady came and placed him in a little box and then took him back to a baby bird nursery room. She came back and she was just so sweet and I knew the little bird would be just fine with these people. In the area behind here she had huge rescued birds behind her. 3 were vultures. And 3 other huge birds were there too just hanging out on there perches. No cages just chilling. And then a goat came up outside the window, to peek in and say hello. Just a wonderful place, where I am going to be donating to monthly so they can keep up their good work and continue to keep there Rescue Intake Window open!! I disputed the charge and cancelled my credit card immediately. I do not want my donation going to a organization who, in my eyes, was trying to scam me. Shame on them. I also see where, on the receipt, "they" made a note they can use the money as they see fit. I want any donation I make to go to the cause, not overhead and paychecks.

The next month the "call center" fee showed up on my credit card again. I doubt a kid even got a backpack. Must be a special kind of scum that uses kids and Christmas as a way to steal money. It is safe and secure with security guard and strict clearance for visitors. My friend has been staying there for three months since having the worst summer ever. Now she has opportunity to be surrounded by a caring, professional community conducive to her recovery and stabilization. She has a healthy daily routine that includes medication management, Bible study, counseling, meals, and on campus work. I highly recommend Phoenix Rescue Mission Changing Lives Center for women.

I also want to give a special shout-out to the St. Mary's Food Bank staff for their exceptional organization and warm welcome. Joseph, in particular, was fantastic. He made the experience lighthearted while still keeping us in line (pun not intended) and he even took song requests from Prince Fans (Purple Rain). The freezer was donated to St. Mary's - and welcomed. We keep our pantry stocked. When the "Best By" dates geow near on pantry goods, they are donated to St. Mary's and refreshed. I have on video, a security guard who threatened to throw those court documents out into the trash along with sentimental items that were left for my loved one that have in the past comforted him. These items are what remain of his deceased parents and include his grandmothers urn. Despite police confirmation he is there- This facility does not act in their residents best interest even when on video.

Upon receiving this kitten, I noticed that it had the genitalia of a boy. The male kitten also had a dark bump in his eye. This was unintentional so I was not upset with her about this happening. However what upset me was that she was not willing to refund me the $75 I paid to have a female orange kitten. She expected me to donate my money to her even though I did not receive what I expected. She did not fulfill her side of the contract by providing me a female orange kitten (as advertised), and yet I don't get my money back. It's not like I got what I expected and then suddenly decided to change my mind. PLEASE stay away from adopting from this rescue. She will scam you your money even if she is the one in the wrong. Also the reviews left on yelp for her lash business are so bad as well, I honestly should have trusted my gut feeling when I saw those bad reviews.
