I was a bit scared because one review said the people were rude. I had no problem buying a wire for my printer.

By far best boutique in Key West. Or, the world, TBH. This place is filled with treasures, and…read moretruly one of the best little shops I've ever visited--curated like a museum, and with high quality items that also evoke museum vibes. There's a European air and flair in the place, with items I've never come across in other shops, and I love that! There were lots of scented items, and I love how she had glass cloches over the individual scents, since I am scent-sensitive. I was afraid when I walked in I might not be able to take it, but it wasn't overpowering. There were so many home and gift items in here, I could have easily dropped 10x the amount of money I did If I'd brought a bigger suitcase. From the delicate new and vintage jewelry, to the frameable greeting cards, to high end teas (daily sample available), and cotton frocks sprinkled throughout, I felt like I could have spent two hours in this small shop and still not have seen everything. Yet, it doesn't feel overwhelming, because the merchandising skills utilized here just made it a pleasure to wander this way and that, admiring all the little touches. Honestly, it is an exemplary shop. I'd rank this in the top 5 shops I've ever visited anywhere, and I wander into a LOT of shops! This is a must if you are in Key West. You can get a cocktail anywhere, but these elegant displays and thoughtfully curated products are not to be missed!

When you walk inside you can see many different variety of items for sale, some are souvenir related, some are nicer fashion for men and women. The young lady working here was more preoccupied with her phone and her video than greeting customers. However, after looking around for a while, I found several items that I loved, that were reasonably priced, and beautiful, so I bought them! However, I am writing this review, not so much about the store, but about the sales associate who assisted me. Her name was Lauren, and they couldn't have a sweeter and more helpful person there! Loren had the greatest smile, the kindest voice, and was not overbearing or obnoxious like a lot of the sales people I met in stores. She left me to look around on my own, but was available in seconds every time I needed assistance. I watched how she interacted with other customers and her service was spot on. Good customer service seems to be a practice that is lost in our country at this point in time and I know it must be affecting productivity as well as sales. That's why I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the outstanding service that Lauren provided. She understands what good customer service means and she delivers. Plus, she is truly a very nice person and perfect for the job she currently holds. Truval marketplace is lucky to have Lauren and I feel honored to have met her.

Terrible and disrespectful owner and staff... I live in Connecticut and I am not often in Florida…read morevisiting my Mom. Well, today (8/25/2026) I brought my 84 year old mom (with her walker) into the store to purchase another pair of shoes ..she lives in Lake Worth, so it is a bit of a drive. We decided to go back to this store because we both purchased New Balance sneakers in February...and the gentleman that helped us back then was very nice! Don't recall his name... But today was an entirely different experience- I see that there are other comments and reviews for the woman behind the desk- rude and unsympathetic. Lisa C. nailed it with her comments in her review. We walked in and the first thing she said was, "do you have an appointment" and I said No. I asked if my mom could get a pair of shoes and she said "No - you need an appointment- booked for the day"! Then she said quite abruptly "you should have called"...hahahaha- really... I said I was here in Feb. and we just walked in- I asked her when they changed the policy, and she said about a month ago... Unless you are a customer that visits this store every day, how would one know about this policy change? { I viewed the website before I wrote this review and it doesn't even state anything about the required appointment - except: "Appointments for medical issues are highly recommended". Actually, the main webpage states: " We're not your everyday shoe store! Call us today to see how we can help you"! Now that is a pleasant and welcoming statement- too bad they don't carry over that business model into their store.} Then I asked the woman if I could speak to the man who was helping (the one and only customer in the store), and she said "No, you can't" - Hold on whoa!! What is her attitude? Well at that point I turned to my Mom and her aide and said "we are leaving; they are very disrespectful" ...As I passed by the man, I spoke to him directly anyway...asked if he could quickly see my Mom since she is elderly and doesn't get out much....I intentionally spoke to him because unless you are my GOD, you are not going to tell me who I can or can't communicate with...I found out he is the owner and he said he has no staff and he is very ill - of course, I am so sorry for your situation, but you should fire your rude staff person and close up shop now... perhaps you just don't care how you treat people! Karma works in strange ways. Thank goodness for FLEET FEET - they were very accommodating, and my Mom was in her new pair of $150 sneakers within an hour after we left your shop. If I could convince others reading this review not to come to your store then I have accomplished one small deed. Last, Macelle L. wrote a review -she has been going to this store for over 10 years and " has read the bad reviews....The key is to always be kind and compassionate no matter what" - The owners should take her advice!
