Happy birthday to me! A friend and I had the most amazing morning. While receiving our personal welcome and instruction, we sat with our feet on a pink salt disk that I absolutely loved. I instantly relaxed upon putting my feet on it. Started with 90 min massages. Personalized to each of our tastes. I was in the Salt room. It was probably the best massage I have ever had. I work hard so I can enjoy these luxuries. There are so many salt items and chakra mats and beautiful handmade jewelry for sale. Would definitely recommend it. It's worth every penny. read more

went with two friends who were visiting the area. we purchase the Triplett package and it was fantastic. massage, infrared heat zero gravity chair, and sound bed. I fell asleep in the infrared heat zero gravity chair ! the heat penetrated deeply but skin did not burn. the sound bed sent vibrations deep inside my body. it's like a massage for your insides! Both thighs twitched a bit at times which means the vibrations were getting down deep. and Wendy massaged my neck for 30 minutes and the pain went away all three treatments were performed in the salt cave and the air is filled with tiny ionized salt particles. I was breathing so well and so deeply afterward. my breathing was noticeable better! and I slept great that night I just wish I lived closer. I would be there every week! read more

It's a beautiful, clean place that smells like heaven. The minute you walk in you feel the peace and calm energy. We both got a 90 minute massage. This has been on my bucket list for years & I finally got to experience it! I had the foot reflexology massage in the salt room and it was the most relaxed I have been in a long time! I honestly think I fell asleep at some point. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, Heather did my massage & did a wonderful job -super friendly! The location was clean & had a very zen feeling. Water & tea are available to enjoy after your service. The salt rooms are really cool and well created. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Asheville. Very relaxing experience! I took a girls trip with 5 of my friends from grade school. We wanted to do something to pamper ourselves and we decided on a Salt cave. It was wonderful. Very low lighting, soothing music, comfortable zero gravity lounge chairs were the perfect atmosphere. The 45 minute session actually went over an hour ( thank you!). My first visit was amazing! I was having a tough day filled with anxiety and brain fog. The Universe directed me to The Salt Spa and as usual, it was the best thing I could do to rebalance myself. While all staff members we met were very friendly and accommodating, we feel as though the website was very misleading and were very disappointed overall with the Couples Salt Spa experience. As far as the facility goes, the term "Himalayan Salt Cave Sanctuary" was very deceiving in that we believed that the room would be truly in a cave. We each independently gathered from your website that there would be a huge area in the cave to lounge before the spa (as "salt therapy" can be a treatment purchased on its own) and then within the cave would be a number of rooms for the massages. We did not realize that the "cave" was a room in a strip mall with lawn chairs for your clothes. We actually arrived in the parking lot about 45 minutes early thinking that there would be a full spa experience beforehand (a lounge experience and amenities) but when we saw it was in a strip mall, we ran errands until the appointment time. Even looking back at the website and the pictures now, I do not feel as though your website accurately depicts the actual facility. For the massage itself, we were disappointed further. The room was very cold so it was uncomfortable and difficult to relax. I kept wishing I had left socks on. The massage therapists themselves were fine, although we did not leave feeling like we just had massages. My boyfriend asked for firmer pressure mid-way through and did not feel he received it. Furthermore, I have had sinus trouble for most of my life, including a sinus procedure, and did not feel any benefits from the salt cave. read more

My husband and I went here yesterday for a 2 hour bliss session with Katherine for some serious relaxation for our wedding anniversary. Walked in and greeted by Brad who was ready and waiting for us. He's super friendly and very hospitable. To match that, the waiting area is calming, smells soothing, well lit with various Himalayan salt lamps and very well decorated. Our massage was in a private salt room which was super calming and relaxing. The salt bed is a little firm but after laying there for a few minutes the salt, heat and soothing sounds had me sleeping. The massage was absolutely perfect too! Katherine's hands worked magic on me and my husband! Needless to say we were very pleased with the staff and this space. After the massage we relaxed sipping hot herbal tea and rested our feet on heated Himalayan salt rests. We highly recommend this place!! read more

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. We had a long flight a few days prior to arriving in Asheville and had booked appointments before we left our west coast home. The atmosphere was just as I'd hoped. Serene and pleasant, with a focus on health and healing. We spent time in the Halotherapy room and each had a deep tissue massage with Katherine, the massage therapist. The Halotherapy really helped my asthma and allergies. Sinuses finally drained and breathing eased after all the airplane air. I must say, Katherine knocked it out of the park with that massage! My husband surprised me with a visit to the Salt Spa. I didn't know quite what to expect, but we received a thorough history of salt therapy upon arrival. I actually own a salt lamp but didn't realize how beneficial it was for breathing and lung detoxification. You sit in the "salt room" in zero gravity chairs, cocooned in warm blankets. During the session you can nap or meditate (I fell asleep in seconds). When the session is over, you feel euphoric! We enjoyed hot tea afterwards. I only wished we had scheduled massages afterward because I was so relaxed. We will definitely be back next time we are in Asheville! read more

For healing benefits it is superior to the Asheville Salt Cave because the room is cool and dry. I have experienced this myself and highly recommend. My husband and I had a couples massage done here. When making the reservation, Ines, the owner, was very helpful and pleasant to talk to over the phone. She answered a lot of questions since it was our first time in a salt spa. I didn't feel rushed or pressured into anything. She was patient and very kind. I booked the "Blisstime" Massage and Far Infrared Himalayan Salt Bed for Two. The moment I walked in the shop I felt the energy shift. Ines welcomed us and wen over the procedure and introduced us to our massage therapist. My husband and I were both in the massage room at the same time. While one was getting the massage the other laid in the salt bed. The massage was WONDERFUL. Very thorough in all the areas. The right pressure was applied. Very soothing and relaxing and we both felt light and refreshed afterwards. The salt bed was a first for both of us so we had no expectations. You lay on top of the bed which is covered with a sheet that is on top of about 2 inches in Himalayan sea salt. You can lay facing up or down or whatever is most comfortable. The temperature is set to 125°F but you can adjust it lower, which I did because it was too hot for me. Staff was very friendly and experienced. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to going back and trying out other spa services. read more

The Salt room itself has a beautiful chakra colored light to focus on, the music was perfect, the chairs... Omg I've found our next purchase!!!! The zero gravity relieved more tension in my body than our $145 massages did before we arrived! This is a place of true healing, it's a shame that halotherapy isn't widely available in our home state. I would be there every month!
