I bought a Leer truck bed fiberglass Lid from them. It took 13 weeks to come in. I paid $2,850 for…read moreit. I was happy with the Lid until I discovered it was leaking at the front of the Lid where the front gasket is attached to the Lid. I called them and they said for me to bring it in which I did. I explained to them that the water was coming in between the seal and the lid. I left the truck and they called me 2-1/2 hours later and said the truck was done. They told me everything was good to go. After I looked at the lid when I got home I couldn't see anything that they had done but I took them at their word. Well the next big rain We had I saw that the leak was still there. I then took a video of the leak. I called them again and explained again about the leak and told them I had a video of the leak. I talked to Tom the installer. He told me "great that would help tremendously. I made an appointment to get the leak fixed AGAIN. When I went back I talked to the owner and showed him the video. He started telling me there was nothing he could do but to send the entire lid back to Leer which I found unacceptable. He told me about the only thing they could do was to put some silicone caulking across the seal. When Tom the installer brought the truck around I looked where they were supposed to put the caulking and the only placed they caulked was the pop rivet heads. I asked Tom why he didn't caulk all the way across the seal, he said "there's tape behind the seal". I said I know that's exactly where it's leaking at. He said I don't know then. I said Never mind, I'll fix it myself. MY ADVISE TO ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW IS TO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM VALLEY TRUCK OUTFITTERS! THEY WOULD'NT TAKE CARE OF A WARRANTED PRODUCT THAT THEY SELL UNLESS THEY SEND IT BACK TO THE FACTORY WHERE IT CAME FROM WHICH THE OWNER SAID WOULD TAKE A LONG TIME. SO AFTER FOUR TRIPS FROM NILES TO POLAND I STILL HAVE A LEAK.

When I brought my van in on October 22,2024 I explained there were noises coming from underneath the van. They could not give me a ride , so I had to make arrangements to get a ride to work. They called me to say the van was ready for pickup and they found the exhaust system heat shield on the down pipe loose and rattling and they re-secured it and the noise was gone The total bill was $72.01. However, the noise persist so I took it to another mechanic. The diagnosis was the Left and Right Front Sway Bar Links needed replaced and the repair was done. Since then , the noise was eliminated. I am very disappointed that you did not pick up this problem. I feel your price to tighten a bolt was excessive. Marcella M.
