Both were excellent and the beer was also quite good. I had their signature wheat beer and then an Oktoberfest beer (because why not) and really enjoyed it. It was renovated from a previous hall and the decor is very nice, not to mention the Christmas decor. They even added a nice sitting area for groups of 5-8 where you have your own self serve beer tap at the table. What more do you need? They also have multiple private rooms. It's truly an International bar / pub. When we arrived at 9 it was packed and there were over a hundred people there. The ambience is wonderful and, for sport lovers there are three big screens with different games on, both local and international. If you are not into sports there is plenty of other distractions on offer like reasonably priced drinks and dart boards or, talking to strangers ;-)) Of course if you are there with friends / family you can talk to them too ;-)) There a variety of local and international beers on offer and, some craft beer also. Lots of long drink options and the prices for long drinks are just slightly more than the beers, a welcome change to long drink prices in the rest of Munich. The staff are international and speak good English. The service was very friendly and for their first night on the job did well to keep customers happy. There will be a food menu however tonight it was finger food on the house :-) There are a few kinks to work out and over time the menu for drinks and food will expand and change. Pub quiz / Trivia night is planned for Monday nights starting the 23rd of March and other regular events will develop as time goes on. Der Service war schockierend unprofessionell, unfreundlich und, was am schlimmsten ist, offen rassistisch und diskriminierend. Hier ist, was während unseres Besuchs am 20.11.2024 von 19:00 bis 20:30 passiert ist:) 1. Unfriendly and Hostile Behavior When we ordered drinks, the female server practically threw the beer mat onto our table, displaying an outright lack of courtesy. (1. Unfreundliches und Feindseliges Verhalten Als wir Getränke bestellten, warf die weibliche Bedienung den Bierdeckel praktisch auf unseren Tisch - ein vollkommen respektloses Verhalten.) 2. Disruptive Conduct During the Meal While we were eating, she carelessly threw items intended for other tables onto ours, disrupting our meal in the most unpleasant way. (2. Inappropriate Comments During Payment During the payment process, which we handled one by one, the card machine malfunctioned briefly. The server sarcastically remarked, "Thanks to the energy of the table..." or in German, "Die Energie des Tisches..."--a completely unnecessary and rude comment when we were simply sitting quietly and waiting. (3. Unangebrachte Bemerkungen beim Bezahlen Während des Bezahlvorgangs, den wir nacheinander abwickelten, funktionierte das Kartenlesegerät kurzzeitig nicht. Die Bedienung machte daraufhin eine sarkastische Bemerkung: "Danke an die Energie des Tisches..." - oder auf Deutsch: "Die Energie des Tisches..." - eine vollkommen unnötige und unhöfliche Aussage, während wir einfach nur ruhig dort saßen und warteten.) 4. Insulting Treatment After a Complaint After one of the guests at our table expressed dissatisfaction with the service, the server retaliated in an incredibly degrading manner. She used two beer mats to carry our used napkins into the tray, as though we were disgusting or unworthy of respect (see below illustration). This happened even after I had tipped for my part of the meal. (4. As a scientist, I am committed to reporting facts accurately, and every detail I've shared here reflects the absolute truth of what we experienced. This dinner, so close to CHRISTMAS, should have been an enjoyable and peaceful experience. Instead, it was destroyed by the disgraceful behavior of the staff. I do not know what we did to deserve such treatment, but I strongly urge anyone considering this place to think twice. If you value your peace of mind, avoid this restaurant--it could ruin your day too! (Der Service war nicht nur miserabel, sondern zutiefst beleidigend.
