The best place to host an event. Everything was flawless from the moment I walked in. We will be booking our next event.

Needed a space at short notice. My daughter graduated a semester early from college (December…read more2025), and we wanted to have a party while her other college friends were in town for the holidays. The staff was so helpful!! Offered great referrals for vendors and great advice on things we could do ourselves!! Great rate and plenty of parking since its behind the plaza. My only suggestion would be to put some additional lighting back there because it's really dark at night. I would definitely use this venue again. Actually, this was our 2nd time at this venue, my mother-in-law had a birthday party there many years ago.

I need to state up front that I'm reviewing as an attendee of an event here (craft fair), not as a…read morerenter or event host. I have zero experience holding events at this place or being on that side of things in any capacity. As an event attendee, though, I liked the space enough. It's not too small, but not that big. It can certainly hold a decent sized event, like a craft fair, with a plethora of vendors. I'd guess there were only about 20 or so total vendors, but they were well spaced out, either due to social distancing or just not wanting to fill up the space. But, there was definitely room for probably double the vendors. The place itself is fine. Nothing splashy about the colors or décor. But, it's reasonable. You can make it your own if you decorate it to your desires. It doesn't feel all that "new" anymore, but I really can't complain about the setup or the condition of the center. I wouldn't dread attending a future event here, either!

My mom and I found Kawania Wooten (Kay) of Howerton-Wooten Events on the Knot. From the beginning,…read moreKay was extremely professional and stood head and shoulders above the other planners we interviewed. We hired her after booking the venue and I wish we'd waited to get her input because she probably would've saved us money in the long run by going with a smaller hotel. Kay came to the table with a long list of recommended professionals, and all of the vendors she recommended were excellent. Kay was great to work with; she's friendly and easy going, which made it easy to discuss choices with her. She is professional and able to quickly assess what we wanted based on her many years of experience. She was ready and able to solve most all our problems, but also ready to bring different views and approaches to the discussion in order to find a good solution. Her recommendations for lighting and décor were very high style; I'd trust her and her team with any of my events.

I had the unique challenge of planning a Maryland wedding while living in Texas. Even though I signed up for partial planning services, Howerton + Wooten completely exceeded my expectations the entire time. She even sent us care packages with wedding magazines and other treats along the way. She assisted us with setting up meeting with vendors and picking out the vendors and items that would best suit our individual style for our multicultural wedding. Leading up to the big day, Kay and her team really saved us by helping with some extra last minute tasks such as gift bags and table settings which was sooo greatly appreciated. Kay was exceptionally kind and patient from start to finish. She even dealt with my 'momzilla' in perfect stride on the wedding day. From the initial contact to several months after the wedding, Kay and the staff at Howerton +Wooten have been wonderful. During the process we not only got the best wedding planner ever but also gained a new friend! We look forward to booking Howerton + Wooten for future events!

They have some construction going on currently. A couple of holes are shortened due to the construction. Fairways are well maintained and greens were rolling well too. I had a great front nine, but plateaued in the back nine. It's not too difficult of a course as they don't have many penalties. Even if you don't drive straight, you could be in play to make a par.

Overall, I think I got what I paid for considering the lower rate. The course wasn't too crowded so I was able to check in at the pro shop within plenty of time for my round. The gentleman at the desk was really friendly and made some great conversations and made the both of us feel welcomed. We took some practice putts on the medium sized putting green for about 15 minutes then loosened up at the driving range. Personally, I wouldn't want to practice at this range for my day to day iron work - the mats were in pretty rough shape and the range didn't look extremely well maintained. The course itself was just okay - again, getting what I paid for. It wasn't an overly difficult course but there were definitely some holes that my partner and I struggled with. The greens seemed consistently maintained and the fairways were nice (not that my ball ended up there often). We did notice that the cart paths needed alot of work - lots of instances of broken pavement or rubble in the cart paths. We have to offroad several times just to drive on more even grounding. The snack shop/cafe was closed for the day it seems and there were very limited snack/drink options in the pro shop. We were hoping for a snack throughout the round but to our disappointment, there was also no cart vendor to sell us something quick. All in all, a fine afternoon playing a round - I would come back but only for the twilight special. I wouldn't want to pay for that $45 or so for the quality of course and amenities. A solid course for beginners to intermediate players.
