The ceremony was beautifully decorated with a chandelier at the top of the tent. It's a great option if you're looking to get married outside but concerned about weather. For the women and elderly at least, you do have to watch your steps when going outside since it's a bit of a cobblestone path in heels or those with poor balance. During my one hour…read moreceremony on 11/25/23 David did the following; -Told our photographer how to do her job (unsolicited) -Made comments to a 16 year old girl that left her in tears -Began arguing with my father in law, calling him a "coward" at one point -Did his best to make sure we were not in the venue for a single minute longer than booked. 61 minutes is unacceptable, 60 is ok -Acted confrontation with me (the groom) when discussing this -Left my now wife feeling incredibly uncomfortable with both his comments about her and ways in which he touched her -Spoke rudely to my wife's grandfather, and immediately warmed up to him upon learning he was the pastor Last but not least: -Commented, "are THOSE (emphasized) people with you?" towards my wife's black family. As a human being and fellow business owner, I couldn't be more disgusted with the shameful way he conducted himself.

I attended a wedding at The Winslow. I was very impressed with the venue…read more The Winslow was easy to find and had a private parking lot right outside. The building itself is brick, like an old factory. Inside it has exposed brick and high ceilings that are also exposed. There were three areas distinct areas in the venue that were separated either by the layout or sliding doors. The first room we entered into had a bar on one wall and some small round tables up against the aforementioned sliding doors. This is where drinks were served as well as snacks (post ceremony). The second room, which was around a big corner (keeping it separated from the bar section) was where the wedding itself was held. This room was a essentially a large open area with big windows looking out into the city. It easily accommodated the 140+ wedding attendees and could've held more. Bonus points for being able to see the Ravens stadium right out the window. Not so bonus, the train tracks which had a train go through during the ceremony. The third room was where the reception was held. This was the room that was closed off by sliding doors when we arrived. There were two levels in here, the DJ was set up on the stairwell landing. The dancefloor was decently sized with tables situated around the outside of it and other tables on the upper level. For the venue being an old factory, I thought the acoustics were good. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at The Winslow as a guest.
