From…read morea young age, I could never breathe solely through my nose, so I would pick at it until I had a perforation in my septum. Yes, I picked a hole in my nose... I know.... embarrassing....I had gone to see a highly rated ENT group in Seattle to try to fix what I thought was a deviated septum it and they determined they could not work on it, to which I was very frustrated at the time. At this point, I am glad they couldn't. I went to Dr. Fairbanks and he offers a different approach from any surgeon I have worked with. A thorough evaluation and explanation of the considered procedure, to where he even drew the anatomy of my nose to help my better visualize the procedure. (Apparently he does this for many of patients since his background is in artistic sculpting). Apparently one of my nostrils did not have any airflow to the turbinates (think air filters inside your nose that also protect against bacteria and infection) so he diagnosed that by operating and opening up my nostril to my turbinate, shaving them down rather than removing them (which is what many ENT's recommend), that it would dramatically increase airflow. It did! I have never been able to breath so clearly in my life and he also re-enforced my nose to protect against collapse from where I had picked as a kid. It is the first time I have ever been able to SOLELY breath through my nose! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! WORLD CLASS IN SLC!

He came highly recommended and I had to be absolutely sure that I was in good hands since my face isn't something I could easily hide if anything were to go wrong. I've watched a lot of documentaries and shows having to do with botched procedures that has had me a bit paranoid and extremely cautious to say the least. I had three procedures done on May 31st of this year: a forehead reduction, a blepharoplasty (to get rid of the droopy skin in my upper lids), and a facelift (to get rid of my jowls, double chin, and the loose wrinkly skin on my neck). I didn't have a lot of fat under my chin but my saliva glands were disproportionately large in comparison to my face. They hung lower than my jawline, making it look like a double chin. Some years before my facelift, I tried Kybella injections to get rid of the unsightly bulge, with no avail. Dr Thompson was able to shave off the bottom portion of the glands creating a much more defined contoured appearance between my jawline and neck. Another thing I'm happy about is that I no longer have to spend tons of money on lash extensions and time getting creative with eyeshadow to hide the droopiness that made me look tired all of the time. Now, my eyes look awake and full of life (like they did when I was young). My forehead reduction is something I wanted since high school and it helps so much. I don't look like I have a receding hairline anymore. I am forever grateful and couldn't be happier with my results. Dr Thompson has an artistic talent that literally erased more than 20 years off of my appearance. I'm turning 50 this month and everyone I've met since my surgery all say they thought I was in my mid-thirties. Even my dermatologist was impressed at how well my scars are hidden and are barely noticeable. He said he wouldn't have even noticed them if I hadn't pointed them out. He said he's pretty impressed. Nothing extensive. For those thinking about getting this done...Botox is not a moral failing and Alfie is good. For this visit I originally planned to do a hydra facial but it was double booked so I opted to try dermablade. Really enjoyed the dermablade facial. They shave away all the dead skin off, do a nice facial, and then apply tinted moisturizer. Expect some tingling but overall painless. It's a nice glow up and would get this again.

Left about 2", right less about 1/2 ". across the cut he left about 1" all the way across lump. Rhinoplasty, face lift, left brown scar, hump where he made stitched skin, overlap too high. Right face droops lower then left. Nose is no longer straight it curves to the left, specifically asked for smaller nose he DID NOT do it at all! They should take accountability for their employee not writing an expiration date and honor the certificate as is. Now they just get to keep the money. It's despicable and frankly, illegal. Don't give them your money.
