With little to no background, we were surprised at all of the "As seen on Food Network" labels next to several menu items. It was hard to choose with so many lunch and breakfast options, but we settled on the Godfather Omelette with a waffle and the Meatloaf & Eggs. The Godfather was like a pizza inside of eggs. A very generous and tasty portion. The upgraded side of a waffle was well worth the price; fluffy, thick, and well flavored of vanilla. It's honestly a perfected classic, and the best waffle we've had in a while. The Meatloaf & Eggs were also great. The waitresses were so kind and personable. Very well equipped to handle a crowd and acquaintanced with many locals, addressing them by name. Our coffees and waters were consistently topped. We loved sitting at the counter and watching everyone. Fantastic service in this classic American breakfast diner. Offering perfectly nostalgic breakfast bites and some novelty items, The Coffee Cup is worth your visit.

Located in a small little shopping center, this place is definitely tucked away but super easy to find. Parking can be scarce so I would either recommend in getting there very early or a little bit later in the morning. When you open the door, the first thing you are greeted with is the pastry rack in front of you. I swear, I gained 10 lb. Just looking at it. So many amazing things to look at and see absolutely wonderful. Another thing I have to brag about is how friendly everyone is there. You walk in the door and you are greeted literally by everyone. Really makes you feel at home and invited in to experience everything that they have. I opted for the tiramisu latte, and it was fantastic! Definitely had a perfect coffee flavor, and the terramisu flavoring was not overly sweet but actually was perfect. I had the bacon breakfast croissant with egg and it was wonderful. Perfectly balanced, the flavors were there, and the bacon was excellent! This is definitely one we are going to add for our go-to breakfast places when in Vegas. Super excited to try everything on the menu! Bottom line? If you have not gone to horizon shine, you are missing out. Top of your must-go places and I swear you will not be disappointed! You will probably see me there again! If so, feel free to buy me a pastry.

The inside is so cozy with patterned fabric chairs, wood tables and a a pretty cool wall mural. There is also a wine bar combined with the coffee house by Azzura inside. So coffee by day, wine in the evening. There is soft music playing, but you can easily meet here for conversation. They have books you can borrow located in an old telephone booth. I also saw some puzzles and games on the floor inside. If you are in the area, you should give this place a try. I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

If you're super bougie then yes, this isn't a great neighborhood. But, I've lived in this area and…read morehave been coming to this location for 6 years. I've never had any problems, save for the people asking for spare change (which is quite often). The employees are always helpful and welcoming. But, they're almost always out of AT LEAST one thing that I come in for. Whether it be a specific Slurpee flavor (Cherry is out a lot), a soda from their soda fountain (it was out of order for over a week), candy, a beer, or a bottled coffee... They don't restock their items as often as they should. So I go to the one on Warm Springs and Gibson or Horizon and Boulder Hwy. I will never go to the one off of Major again. That's probably the most ghetto one in that area.

However, they only have one or two people working in that store and there was one employee working the cash register who was nice to me however, the other lady who is scanning stuff on the shelves. She was the one who wasn't nice and had an attitude the whole time I was in there. All I did was go pick up an order for a customer. I am not sure if I will ever come back to this location for orders. I will contact DoorDash support and let them know the situation. And they should at least have a manager working inside or hire more staff. They also make delivery drivers wait to. Especially when the orders are ready or if they are still putting them together. I would like to get in touch with the manager if it is at all possible. To get in and out of the parking lot is not easy to navigate I just think it needs to be remodeled altogether. I hope to not receive orders to the store.
