All other movers I contacted were fully booked so regrettably I had to reschedule with them for a few days later. This time, they were 3 hours late. During the move one of my items was damaged. I spoke to the owner, Neil, at the time it happened and he said they would pay for it to be repaired. After a week of not hearing anything back, chasing up the insurance forms and endless phone calls, again with Neil saying he would sort it, I was told that they would transfer me the cost, and book in the repair - I still have not heard back. I am now taking this matter to VCAT and reading the below feedback it seems like it is a reoccurring theme with this company. The prices may seem cheap, but will cost you more in the long run! Save yourself the stress and AVOID.

Fort Knox storage was great, affordable, 6 years ago . In…read morethe last 2 years, the price increases have become unaffordable. They now have twice yearly increases. My monthly rent increased by $50 earlier this year, and just recently received another email advising g they again, were increasing my monthly fee by nearly $50. I questioned the price hikes to deaf ears. Once I advised I was terminating my storage due to finding cheaper alternatives, I was offered a $60 per month th reduction if I moved my unit out of premium access. Too little too late for me. But I did request my last week of rent be excused due to their delayed responses and acknowledgement that I had been overpaying for years. They denied my request.
