The talent agency requires a $50 retainer before working with its clients. A retainer is a reasonable request, in my opinion, as it is possible that the agency does work setting up an event that does not fall through. However, the only thing that happens upon payment of this first retainer is an automatic information form that gets details about the event. There is not any personal attention towards the project, and no work on behalf of this agency to continue working with the client. This form is not available or visible until after the first $50 is paid. Upon filling out this form, the website requires ANOTHER $50 payment. This second payment is not published anywhere until after the first one, and is required before any work is done by the website. Additionally the agency released a minimum budget requirement only after the first $50 was paid. The website claims that no pricing information can be shared prior to the initial retainer under the pretense that the case by case differences between events make pricing information impossible, but it uses an automatic form that rejects any budgets below their minimum (for my request, the minimum was $897). This means that they deliberately do not publish a minimum price to force potential clients to pay $50 prior to finding out whether or not they can afford the services of this agency. In my opinion, this is a scam. This agency put no work towards my potential event despite charging me $50. Please do yourself a favor and do not make the same mistake I did. Find yourself an agency that will transparently explain its pricing up front. I did not pursue business with this agency further after finding this policy so I cannot speak towards the talent itself. I am however dissatisfied with the underhanded cash grab by the people that run this website.

Came here to give a presentation…read more OMG! I think LCC is the smallest college I've ever been to. I think this college only has like 5 buildings, if not more. It's all in a block! Despite the small size, there is adequate space. The room I presented was surprisingly big! People there are friendly and helpful! I have to give shout-out to the Interpreter Program at LCC. It's rumored to be one of the top 3 interpreter training program in the entire nation. After being with their alumnae and students, I believe it. LCC is another college that has banned smoking on campus.

Anyway, I was really impressed with the Spanish courses I took. Both were really helpful, and native Spanish speakers. Also, the small class sizes aided instruction. The online classes were a NIGHTMARE. Poorly designed, and not always led by the best instructors. I was actually dropped from one course (without warning) because I didn't turn in enough assignments early on in the course (I wasn't too worried about my grade in this course). Anyway, I only got a partial refund back, and felt cheated. Anyway, the prices seem reasonable. I took my two in-person courses on the new LCC East campus. The downtown campus seems to have pretty good facilities too.
