The setup is similar to 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids but on a much smaller scale. I am not sure when they opened in relation to when my event was but a lot of the workers just seemed kinda confused and not sure how to answer questions. Me and my friend had seats on the balcony/loft and we noticed people coming upstairs to look for the seats and realizing their seats didn't exist. The workers then started setting up more seats. Super weird. If you're not in the front row on the balcony then you probs won't be seeing much! I would recommend floor seats. The other thing I would like to note is the location of the bathroom upstairs. Nice that they are close by but annoying seeing the light all night as people continuously open and close the door. Big positive was how easy it was to exit at the end of the night. Very quick!

The venue is…read moreabsolutely stunning, including the grand ballroom and terrace levels in the opera house itself, as well as the vibrant terrace area connected to the Grand River outside. We had both our wedding ceremony and reception upstairs in the grand ballroom with less than two hours during our cocktail hour to reset the room and the opera house staff did an excellent job transitioning the room during this time. Needless to say, the setup for both the ceremony and reception was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was wonderful about communicating what to expect with us beforehand and being present and helpful, yet unobtrusive, throughout our wedding day. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day at the Grand Ledge Opera House!

He was incredibly disrespectful the entire night, and it's unfortunate that this wedding was tainted by someone with such a poor attitude. I won't post the price but it was extremely reasonable. Turned to my right and struck up an easy conversation with the fellow enjoying his drink. I ordered a bar burger and it was Great! I was shocked to find the bill was only $10.00. Last night I returned for a drink with my wife. As soon as I entered we were greeted and offered menus and asked what we would like to drink. This is going to be a regular stop for me because it is friendly and prices are fair. Trust.

I love the concessions they offer as well as the restaurant quality food they bring to your seats for an unbeatable price! The seats are also some of the most comfortable theater seats you can get, I love when I end up in the auditorium with the heated seats!!! Lastly, the staff, I have nothing but great things to say about them. They keep things running smoothly, keep things super clean and are very friendly and accommodating! Our family was in town visiting friends when we discovered this great planetarium. Sunday afternoon…read morethey show a sesame Street introduction to astronomy for young kids. $3 tickets for kids,$4 for adults. My 3.5 year old was engrossed, and the student hosting the hour long program was excellent at engaging the kids and introducing constellations. The seating was about 3/4's full, but it didn't feel crowded or chaotic when waiting in the lobby. Seats and facilities were very clean, including the restrooms. The lobby has several simple exhibits that occupied all of the kids while waiting for the show to open. I'm not a planetarium snob, I just love the family friendly pricing, and will definitely come back to learn more alongside my son. Good honest fun.

Was excited to check out a show here this past weekend. Went to the website for show times and…read moreparking info. Showed up 1/2 hour before the show and the place was completely dark. No lights. Waited a bit and nothing. Pulled out my phone to check info on website but all was correct. Was in town visiting and was disappointed I didn't get to see the show. I later found out there was a power outage. It would have been nice if they updated their website with that info or at least, posted a sign on their front door with an explanation.
