    Hamburger sliders...good!
    Richard H.

Really a 4.5 star rating.... I was very impressed with our first visit in March '13. Easy to use online reservations. Very nice looking facility, clean modern design. Very nice service from the ticket takers to the snack counter and wait staff. We paid $17 each for premium recliner seats with popcorn included... Everything else after that costs extra and can start adding up ... Pop is $4 for instance. We ordered Hamburger sliders for $10 and a cheese pizza for $8 ... The sliders were very good though they came with no side such as chips and really should... The pizza was a bit of a disappointment I'm afraid... Very plain and very small :-( ... A child size and quality. But it tasted ok and we dealt with it. Again, service was right on point. All I can say about the seats is ... Nice! It's so great to have creature comforts at a movie theatre! In summary... If you are the type that is willing to pay more to get more... This is your theatre... It's kind of like upgrading from coach to first class... Not necessary but a nicer level of comfort with more frills and service! I figure the whole experience costs about 33% more for a popcorn n movie than other local theaters... Given the nice facility and service, I really enjoyed it and ... I'll be back!

I love everything about the place! From the leather covered reclining chairs with cup holder and personal tables. Table you can sit Bistro Food on, from their food corner. While drinking your cold Draft Beer or delicious mixed drink! The layout & design of the theatre is AWESOME! Even the ladies bathroom, lighting and all. (Love the Dyson Airblades hand driers- So hard to find them) They also played jazz flute upbeat tempo music in the bathrooms. (Ron Burgundy style) The lobby design reminds me of east coast style coolness. Sure it a bit pricey but it's WORTH IT!!! If you want high quality, it cost a bit more. Not to sound like Arnold but... "I'll be back!"

Not bad. Small clean and straight to the point. Smedium sized theater. 1 row of reclining seats in the front and a pair of reclining seats on each end of the rows going up the stairs ...these chairs had a 8.50 up charge and came with some other amenities like unlimited popcorn or something . Basic seating was already 9 dollars so not worth it to me lol Snacks were like 9 dollars and up so about average. Food was average. We got fries and chicken and cookies all of them were underwhelming.

In 2017 I expect my movie theatre to have recliners, but for $16 a ticket we opted for the cheaper old school seats. With that major bummer aside, the theatre is really clean and the staff is great. Maybe I will splurge next time I really good movie comes out.

Nice big theater with roomy seats. I upgraded to a reclining chair which came with its own server, but the regular chairs looked cushy too.

Definitely a cut above the average movie-going experience…read more I rather like this theatre, even if it is a little pricier than some of the others in the area, but the positives definitely outweigh any of the negative aspects. Pros: it has an actual full-service bar, so I can get my drink on- I mean serious drinks, too, not just beer and wine, but full-on mixed drinks/specialty cocktails. The drinks are not cheap, though. Let's just call it what it is- "convenience prices," particularly for the beers on tap. Case in point? $10 for a short Angry Orchard??? Yep, that's what I paid. I don't know how much the taller version cost because I didn't bother to ask. Honestly though, the cocktail prices are in line with some of the casinos in Vegas, but we all know the old saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do," so there's that. Beyond being able to drink here, they have a decent restaurant with regular food, like pizza (i.e. not just popcorn and Twizzlers movie theatre junk). Again, high prices, but you can actually say it's real food, not just candy and junk food. If you're adverse to eating popcorn or fried mozzarella sticks, it might be the way to go. Oh, and for the popcorn noshers, they had a huge variety of cheese/seasoning shakers located in the lobby to season popcorn. I liked the extra options because plain salt is boring. Unfortunately, they are attached to the backboard on a wire, probably to decrease the occurrences of theft. Seriously, who the heck steals popcorn seasoning? As for the theatre itself, this one has super comfortable reclining seats with foot rests. These are the best movie theatre seats anywhere. They were so comfortable, I almost fell asleep during a screening of Alien:Covenant- almost. It's obvious this particular Emagine location was renovated pretty recently. Those seats were new and I could tell. The upgrades were nice and definitely needed. It's obvious this particular Emagine location was renovated recently. I've been here a few times before, but it's much nicer than it used to be, although it always had the bar and whatnot. They also had wait service during the film. Seriously, they took food and drink orders from inside the theatre and brought it to our seats! Emagine staff would drop by and ask if we needed anything from the bar or grill. I liked that! It's the best appointed movie theatre in the area, without a doubt. Getting through ticket purchase and concessions in the lobby was a breeze. Despite the crowd, those lines moved at a lightening pace. I was surprised because I thoroughly expected the line from hell. The cons: there really weren't many. Yes, the ticket price was very slightly elevated (no doubt, to defray the costs of such a nice upgrade), but it was worth it. Plus, they don't have traditional IMAX screens, either, like NCG. Instead, they have 3D and DBOX, which isn't exactly the same. The only other potentially negative aspect (and I'm not even sure if it couldn't be either a pro or a con, depending upon the situation) was that now you have to select your seats on a screen during ticket purchase. Hmm. It remains to be seen whether I really like that change or not. I can totally see why they are doing it- to prevent overselling of tickets and ensuring that groups/couples can sit together. I get it. I just don't know if I love it yet. I also wonder if this new method might cause more headaches or delays during ticket purchase, but I'm not sure. It wasn't a big deal to us at that time, but I could see it potentially becoming a bit bothersome down the line. Like I said, I see why they're doing it, I just don't know if I like it or not. Overall, great theatre with excellent service and amenities. I know I'll be going back.

Upon arrival at the theater, I checked in at the front desk/concession area. I received my concessions that I pre-purchased. I was alone with my child as a single parent. I grabbed 2 of their trays for the seats to hold the popcorns and drinks and began juggling all of that alone. I proceeded to my theater and was met by a staff member that said they were still cleaning and we would need to wait in the hall. When I asked where I could place the trays and food I was juggling I was told "I don't know" I asked for a manager and I had 3 "managers" come up to me. I explained that I was juggling all of this as a single parent and they said " maybe don't come so early". I said that the staff member should advise the theater doesn't open until 30 mins before a show and she said " we can't catch everyone".... I was then told "enjoy my show there is nothing we can do for you." Nothing like a theatre that isn't "family friendly" and doesn't care about the customer

But ignoring those, the rest of the theater is all nice recliners that also have a heating switch. One thing I really like about this theater is how much space there is between rows; even with the seats fully reclined, you don't have to squeeze by people if you need a restroom break in the middle of the movie. The sodas and slushies are self-serve and they also have five different types of powdered popcorn seasoning that you can apply. Surprisingly, though, they didn't have any butter dispensers - I suppose you could always ask for more from behind the counter, but I do like being able to control the amount that's put on. They have a pretty widespread concessions menu and they will bring out your hot food to you in your seat. Prices for concessions are average and tickets are reasonable - $9 for a matinee and $11 for night. The lobby area is notably nice - there is a self-playing piano, a fireplace, and a full bar area. It was also impeccably clean in the lobby and restroom. Employees were very friendly across the board. This is clearly a very well-maintained theater and I would definitely go back.

This location also reminds me a lot of the Emagine Macomb location, which feels also super nice and brand new. In general though, every Emagine location is that high level of excellence and luxury that make the movie going experience so wonderful, I just happened to notice, as someone who almost exclusively watches movies at Emagine that this one is a smidge nicer than others! Other than that, it's your standard Emagine theater! High quality food, recliners, booking system, customer service, and general movie going experience! What more can I say? Another great Emagine location and I was happy to come here and catch a movie with some friends where this theater was in the perfect center of all of us so that we could all congregate at! Located just a smidge south of Fenton, we went to Spicer Orchards afterwards, which was not even 10 minutes away! It was a winning afternoon duo in a Michigan fall! Loved it!

I'm not sure what is wrong with the systems, but a gift card should go towards the purchase and not be invalid because it can't cover it. I did check the card and it indeed does have $20 on it so it is valid. Disappointed that this can't be used like other gift cards. The staff for popcorn was friendly. Walking into a lite theater seemed harmless, but while searching for seats it was quite interesting. Those seats in theater 5 (and maybe others) were so worn and down to threads that was once the pleather recliners. It was absolutely a shame to see these seats in such rough conditions.
