Furthermore, I rented a yurt from the national park service at Jake's Landing. The park service never gave me any information on unlocking the yurt, which happened to have a padlock on it!!! I can't remember exactly, but I think his name was Chad (a keji outfitter worker), he posted a note on the door with his phone number to try and help the people that reserved it the night be fore us. They couldn't get into their yurt also. 'Chad' assisted us with getting the combo to the yurt. Those folk at Keji Outfitters are kind souls indeed!!

Amazing summer stay!!!…read more We had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Winchester House of the Harbourview Inn for August of 2020 and we can hardly wait to go back next year! Our unit came with a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher), a washer dryer and even a whirlpool bathtub. Our room was quaintly decorated and the bed very comfortable. We loved having breakfast on the side patio and Greg and Belinda even supplied us with a bbq for our month long stay. We received excellent value for our stay. We made sure to explore the local walking paths and swam in the pool daily. We also enjoyed beachcombing and the playground daily but the true icing on the cake were Greg and Belinda. They were incredibly helpful and friendly to make sure we got to enjoy all the local hidden treasures of Smiths Cove and the surrounding areas.

The fairways and bunkers are in horrible condition. No grass. Hard dried mud on every fairway and bunker complex. Tee decks are not maintained. Stanley Thompson would be so disappointed in how poorly maintained his course is. Avoid as there are are far better golf courses in the area

A small B&B just meters from the waterfront and the downtown, such as there is in Digby. The owner was all you could ask for, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Our room was clean and well appointed. The hot breakfast in the morning was very nice, coffee was great. We settled on the Admiral Digby Inn, also, because it seemed pretty central. For a random, pretty uniformed choice, we really hit the jackpot. We rented the 2 bedroom cottage and it could not have been more perfect. We were on the motel property but off in the corner, so it felt incredibly private. We had all the amenities of the motel-including the indoor heated pool and the AMAZING restaurant- but we had our own kitchen, living room and 2 private decks. One with ocean views and a hammock that I miss! I had the best haddock I've ever had at the restaurant. Breakfast was yummy too. If I have to pick a negative, it would be that there were no televisions in the bedrooms. But that's not really a negative, because we didn't travel all the way to Nova Scotia to watch TV. The pool was a little dated, but my son, the little fish, didn't care. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The front desk clerk offered us great advice on what to see and do, and even offered to book us a whale watch. They even had discount tickets to Upper Clements amusement park. I cannot recommend the Admiral Digby Inn highly enough. We're hoping to visit next year!
