We had no problem finding a spot that was easy to level the camper on. Once we settled in we enjoyed the quiet time watching the fog swirl around the bay while the fishing boats passed by. Highly recommended spot!

Last night a guy floated past our site in an inner tube drinking a beer, hard to beat that! We bought lobster in Lunenburg yesterday, cooked it at our site and ate it by the creek. AMAZING. The owning family is sooo friendly! Dave, you rock!!! Dog and daughter have spent their evenings playing in the creek. Today, we took our much awaited tour of Oak Island which lived up to our anticipation, just an amazing history. If you are camping and want to take the tour, I can't imagine a better place to stay. However, I would seriously just return here to camp and enjoy the area and the campground.

Other than the shit on site, what bothers me most about this site is that you have to pay to use the amenities, shower and camp wood is not provided unless purchased. I would definitely not come back here as upper clements has a campground which is also nice, only 8 minutes away, and you don't have to pay to shower and wood is also provided free of charge as well as garbage pick up right at your campsite. Kejimkujik Nova Scotia, also known simply as Keji, is located in the western region of the province. It is a National Park and very well organized. Well known for its excellent canoe routes and camping, it also has a network of excellent backpacking and hiking trails. This is pretty much a flat area. But if peace and tranquility that being close to nature appeals to you, then Keji is worth a visit. Over 80 percent of the Park is backcountry, accessible only by canoe or hiking trails. The owners, Courtney and Nick, have been so above and beyond gracious showing us the ropes. The campground is just a few minutes outside the Town of Digby, and it comes with a nice beautiful, CLEAN pool. The washrooms and laundry facilities are also extremely clean. Great playground for the little ones, and an indoor place for when it rains. I think the best thing of all is the enforcement of the 10km/hr speed limit to keep the kids safe. There are also cabins down in the back of the campground if you want to bring a group of friends who do not like tenting and who do not have RVs. Perfect next to the washrooms and not too far from the pool :)
