Ok this place is sick! My bf and so live close by so of course we had to check it out. It's a Gaming Wonderland! Adam knows his stuff and he actually will work with you, depending on the condition of the product- he is very honest, too. But beware, you will be swayed to spend more $$$ because his collection is INSANE. I'm not even a heavy gamer but the nostalgia got me and he had some of the games I played with my brothers growing up!! He just made my day I was interested in game cube and now I'm leaving with that plus a controller, memory card and stack of games for it, including Sonic and Sims Urbz *happy dance* Adam- You rock!

Available collection extends to earlier console games and titles. Take a look!

The store has an incredible selection of retro video games, consoles, and collectibles. Adam, the store owner, has a talent for maintaining older games in great condition. My fiance and I reignited our love for Pokemon games after purchasing some older titles from the store (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green). The cartridges were all prepped with new batteries and have been reliable for the past few weeks with constant play. Adam is very accommodating - on our second visit, he helped us test some Gameboy Advance trading link cables to see if they would work between a Gameboy Advance SP and the Analogue Pocket (conclusion: it works!). Even outside of the excellent merchandise, it is a joy to chat with Adam about video games and culture in general. He is truly knowledgeable, and any visitor will quickly see that this is his passion. I highly recommend that you stop by!

Adam was kind enough to return my call and explain to me he was out picking up more inventory for his store.

Everything is tightly packed and has a huge variety of selection. In the back corner there are some signed collectibles and a small case of highly valued video game history. --Service/Staff-- Staff was quick to help me in finding my selection. There are so much to look at in such a small space. They even talked about some of their suppliers which great to hear or not hear being a video game nerd myself. --Food/Products-- Walk to walk and every space is taken with video games. They have one of the largest PS Vita collection, PSP, new, used that I have ever seen. If you are looking for something. Chances are to look here first before trying to purchase it online --Capacity-- Since wall-to-wall video games. There can only be one person in each aisle since there is not enough room to walk past each other. I want to say. No more than 3-5 people can be in the store because of how tight it is. --Overall-- A great place to look for video games. Note some video games have been there for a while and might have some dust on them. I will swing by every time I am in NY.

The selection of Nintendo Switch games is unprecedented here! They have US games and foreign games that you'll never find at Target, Walmart or Best Buy. There aren't many retro gaming stores left in NYC, but this one has a few game options with good value. I visited another retro gaming store on the following day and their prices were too crazy high, even more than online. I returned here the next day to pickup some more games. This location helps you to sell and trade gaming gear too. Looking for that impossible Game Boy or GBA game? There's a high likelihood they have it here!

The discs I received had come with deep scratches, rendering them completely unplayable. Selling games in this condition demonstrates either a complete absence of quality control or a disregard for customers altogether. It is one thing to expect minor cosmetic wear on used discs, but it is another to receive items that clearly were never inspected and should never have been sold in the first place. A company dealing in video games has one basic responsibility: to ensure the product functions. Kill Screen Games failed at that most fundamental level. Until they establish real standards for product inspection and customer care, I cannot hand them a good review.
