Bummed out completely! Reached out because they are a woman owned buisness and wanted to support them. A tech came out to inspect issue and at which time that tech gave a diagnosis and I had a couple of weeks to decide if I wanted them to come pick up refrigereator and haul it away. I scheduled the haul away and signed on the dotted line. $400-$500 to haul away. I called and left a message and an email to discuss possibilty of any sort of customer appreciation discount...They never responded to my email or returned my call. read more

We needed a non-typical repair on a high end, discontinued dishwasher. Armando was able to come 3 days earlier than scheduled. He did the part replacement in a short time and the dishwasher is back to working perfectly. Another company couldn't do the repair because they couldn't find the part. The fee was very reasonable. read more

I've used Repair Tech twice now, and both times they've delivered. First, they fixed the igniter on my old gas stove -- rather than replace it, I wanted to see if it could be repaired, and they came through. Second, my washing machine stopped mid-cycle with a full tub of water. They fixed it, but when the problem persisted, they came right back and tracked it down to a tiny screw that had fallen out. Every technician I've worked with has been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable -- the kind of people you feel good about having in your home. That combination of expertise and persistence is hard to find. My washer is running perfectly now, and I didn't have to replace either appliance. Highly recommend if you want a repair service that actually sees the job through. read more

Could not diagnose my split ac, never returned my follow up phone calls. Unit not fixed.

First off they came out to repair the icemaker and the refrigerator was not cooling properly. They came out and installed the fan and they also charged me for two emergency responses which was $200 each. It should've only been one and unfortunately when they left my icemaker did not still work and now I have been put on hold as it is a warranty item and it's been four weeks now without an icemaker, and they will not schedule the appointment until they receive the part to fix it, which will only prolong the repair of my refrigerator. This is an awful company and I would never hire them again but now I am already stuck in with them and I have no choice. Do not do it beware. read more

Quality service, friendly, honest and reliable. Love the fact that they are a family owned business too.

We wanted two exhaust fans installed in our primary bath ceiling, but didn't want them venting into the attic. It was not a straightforward job; one fan had to replace an existing light, and the ducting from each fan had to share a single vent in the roof. Emmanuel put a lot of thought into how he was going to solve the problem, providing photos he drew on to show how he was going to do it. He and his team put plastic sheeting in the work area and did a neat job cutting the holes in the ceiling. After they cleaned up, it was as if they'd never been there. His price was competitive with other HVAC contractors we approached. Definitely we would hire him again. read more

Great service. Used twice. First time they saved our home money by using a product warranty for our dishwasher. They also had a microwave ready to install. We were overwhelmed with two of our most-important home appliances acting up. One call. Two visits later. Back in business. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable. When our ice dispenser started acting up? Who did we call? The Repair Tech Busters! Highly recommend. I saved their contact information to my phone and will calling them only moving forward when we need an appliance serviced. Thank you! - JT and Gloria read more

Loved, loved, loved this service. So professional and listened to our needs regarding the repair of our oven. Would highly recommend this company. Have used others with horrible service. We really found our go to repair for appliances. Thank you for the team who came to the house and spent quality time explaining what was going on. Thank you Team Repair Tech!!! read more

The Repair Tech was recommended to me by a family member who is usually asking me for names. I was so glad she did. They are awesome!!! From the scheduling and communicating to the work. I had to get some service done and get some minor work, and learned that much of my furnace installation was not done in a quality way. It was quite obvious but I had never gone into my attic to look (lesson there). While that was disappointing, I was glad to learn this to prevent any future issue. Repair tech has been helping me get it all done in increments to prevent future problems and have everything running as efficiently as possible. Everyone is nice and courteous and diligent. And they even hand delivered a little christmas gift. And it's nice to support a family business. Grateful to have them. read more

The Repair Tech - Emmanuel will solve any household issue or repair including getting a new fridge into your home that doesn't fit through your door! - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

Just want to say that I have used Manny and the Repair Tech 3 times already for different situations: 1. Refrigerator (multiple issues with no resolve from 2 other companies) 2. Heat Exchange Unit in my attic and thermostat failure, plus replacement of the HE unit, replacement of the ducting and adding extra vents for better distribution and system efficiency. (We had "pockets" in our home, where some areas were either really cold, or really warm - depending on the season. Especially my kitchen which faces west.) They completely solved these issues - which resulted in lower costs to run our system in all seasons. 3. Repair on my dryer. EVERY single time - on EVERY issue, this team not only SOLVED the problems we were having, but saved us money and made better overall recommendations. Each service call was handled with excellent attitudes, complete care and professional attention to all the details: Like expanding the catwalk to the HE unit in the attic, providing easier access for any inspection or possible future needs, and making it easier to reach and service. (That was just part of the quote, and didn't cost as much as 3 other quotes who did not include this service addition.) Not only was the work clean, and without issue following the service completion - Manny made it REALLY easy to understand what we needed and why. He never thought any question we had was too irritating to answer and treated us with complete respect. They never "low-balled" us to get the job, and then created add-ons - he just gave us a good, fair price on each need. I always do my homework for repair costs, but knowing the integrity and quality of service - I have come to trust Manny & the team, and they have become our "go-to" to ensure safe and high-quality repair. My suggestion would be - if you need to hire a service tech for ANY reason, you will have to go a LONG (and possibly frustrating way) to find any company that will handle the situation better that Manny & "The REPAIR TECH". JUST MAKE THE CALL..... read more

These folks are the best appliance repair folks around. I highly recommend them for all of your appliance service needs. My ice maker stopped working on my 2017 KitchenAid refrigerator. Turns out some wires were cut/disconnected from regular usage of the freezer door as it was a bad design by Kitchen Aide to have those wires at the bottom of the door. Emmanuel diagnosed the problem and was able to solder the wires back together. Saved me $1200 as the only replacement otherwise was a new freezer door. Not only did Emmanuel fix my refrigerator at a very reasonable price, he also balanced it and straightened out the doors. The fridge and freezer doors are lined up now and I'm absolutely thrilled. I am so impressed with the attention to detail the technicians had and knowledge of my appliance. I highly recommend this company. read more

I was referred to The Repair Tech by Call Glenn Again Handyman who could not fix my particular problem with my refrigerator. My technician was Armando and he was excellent. He had to research the part on my older refrigerator before it could be fixed. He found out that the original part was no longer available but had been replaced by a newer, better version. He was friendly, helpful and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I also loved that I got a text when he was on his way. I would definitely use this company again and hope that Armando is again my technician. read more

This company was contracted out to repair my heater/ac in January. It took them around 3 months to install the new outdoor unit and it still was not producing any cold air or heat. They continued to make visits over the next couple months (up until June) trying to diagnose why the brand new unit they installed was still not working. Finally one technician diagnosed that the fan coil underneath the house had a leak. Well this fan coil had been there since they started the work in January, so why did it take them over half a year to diagnose this leak? Repair Tech then reached out to the home warranty that contracted them to request a new fan coil. It was denied as the home warranty closed my claim as apparently Repair Tech billed the home warranty and told them that the job was done at some point during March. The home warranty now refuses to re-open my claim and it is all because it took these technicians over half a year to detect a leak on a part that they were working with this whole time. I have also called and emailed asking for documentation of the work done and recieved nothing but a typed up email of the 3 times they showed up at the house. No actual professional documentation. I even had one of the employees hang up on me when I called to ask for an explanation as to why it took them half a year to detect a leak. My current situation is I have not had any heat or ac since late December and now both the home warranty and this repair tech will not return my calls or emails. Oh this is the best part, the 3 main months the technicians were working at my house "repairing" my unit, they ran up my electric bill up to $1100 a month!!! I was willing to pay it and not say anything because I just wanted my ac/heater fixed, but instead they ran up my bill and left me with a non functioning unit. read more

Bought a new home in October and Emmanuel was wonderful with accommodating my schedule to do the HVAC inspection during escrow and ultimately coming back and bringing my whole HVAC system up to code! Emmanuel is trustworthy, reliable, timely, and clearly an expert in his field. Getting into a new home is extremely stressful but he made this piece so easy to address. I really appreciated his upfront pricing with no surprises. Because of that I also called him back to do the duct work so it didn't look like leftover, dirty cotton candy in my garage, but wrapped it up nicely to secure my insulation. He walked me through every update and fix he did and ensured I understood and felt comfortable with the work that was done. Definitely keeping him on my list to use in the future and am telling everyone I know who's looking for an HVAC specialist to call him! read more
