We visited on a dancing night and even though we stayed at our table, it was so fun to see people of all ages, sexualities, and wardrobes coming to and from the dancefloor. Once it got busy, the bartenders were really struggling. It seemed like most of them were new because they kept asking one of the bartenders questions. One of them didn't even know where to find the drink I ordered (it was on the menu, and in the fridge in a can). Once all of the employees are as seasoned as the one they were all asking questions to, I think things will run much more smoothly. It also turned into a big party atmosphere which was fine with us, but many of the tables that were relaxing when we arrived were gone shortly after the music started. So just choose your visit time based on the type of experience you want.

Then this past Saturday they kicked out two of my friends for different reasons one because by accident he drop a chair and the SECURITIES AGAIN approached him very aggressively. The other one supposedly wanted to fight but it was not true. ANYWAYS, I called the police again to reported this case, this can not be happening, people go there because here in Madison there is no another latino place not exactly BECAUSE Club voodoo IS THE BEST PLACE. Securities there feel the kings beating, pushing, and talk aggressively to customers. And I get it, Club voodoo is their place and they can do sh@2 about it but people rights are the same in a public OR private place.

The talent that has been brought from London, Australia, and all over the states with fortified visuals, and an added dose of supplimented sound system rocks the whole block! Come to these events, get down, enjoy the sensory overload and keep your ears to the street if you are looking to go to the afterhours that sometimes go until 9:00 a.m. the next day. The beer selection was mostly domestics, hard ciders/sodas/seltzers. I was happy enjoying some New Glarus Spotted Cow and Moon Man. One thing that caught my attention was the fish bowl drinks. A bartender told me they don't have a special drink, it's basically any drink you want with more booze in it...was very tempted to get and old fashioned in a fish bowl lol. They serve food here too. Decided to try this place as they are now associated with the "Juicy Shrimp Shack". Where do I…read morestart? First, the place isn't very welcoming, kind of like going into a barn. Service was OK, but not exceptional. The food - Shrimp Po Boy was pretty good. The shrimp boil was not. The boil is brought to your table in a plastic bag - no plate, no boat or bowl for the shells, no utensils. They do give you some cheap plastic gloves, which if used, make it quite difficult to peel the shrimp as they are slippery. The shrimp was cooked OK, but lacked flavor. I ordered the "House" sauce, "Hot". Not sure if they brought me the correct sauce as it was quite "garlicy" and had very little heat. The flavor of the sauce did not pair well with the shrimp and really didn't flavor the actual shrimp much. The shrimp was head on and not deveined, for anyone interested. There are no sides included with the boil. If you order the boil, a side of fries will cost you a minimum of $5.99. When they give you your bill, they have already added a tip and a charge for paying with a card. Maybe service would be better at some of these places if servers had to earn their tips. Overall - We tried it, but won't be going back.
