Moving our of my condo I had about 6-7 file boxes of personal and protected papers that needed to be shredded. I look up a few companies and Red Shredder had some amazing reviews, so I gave them a call. The reviews were spot on and now I am adding my 5 star review to the process. They showed up as scheduled and did the shredding quickly. They us a 65 gallon drum to put what needs to be shredded and then loads it onto the lift into the shredding machine. You can watch it being done via a camera on a screen on the side of the truck. My amount of shredding fit into one drum. The charge was $99 for up to two loads into the 65 gallon drum so you can shred a lot of stuff for a very reasonable price. Sharon who I spoke to on the phone was very personable and the gentleman who came to do the shredding was also very professional and during this Covid Crisis was wearing the protective mask and kept a physical distance. If I ever have the need to use a shredding service again, "The Red" would be who I would call!! read more

Great service. Yesterday I picked up 3000 pounds of medical records from my storage and I put it inside my car and I needed help right away. I prefer to do it on Saturday but most companies don't work on Saturday unless for example one company requested a minimum fee of $500. Even though this company is not in Miami I didn't care driving one hour north to get it done today at 9:30am In the morning they were waiting for me on time. The gentleman was very polite very professional and I don't regret driving one hour to get this done on Saturday so my car is now empty and happy. Fees were pretty decent compared to other companies so in 10 minutes everything was done so I recommend this very good company and Sharon I think she's the manager or the owner I'm not sure she was great on the phone And she did some calculations regarding the size of what has to be shred compared to other companies that they didn't even ask me about the measurements. Sharon was extremely polite and she help me with directions and everything I only have good things to say about Sharon and the company thank you very much. read more

Unbelievable service!! I have been wanting to get rid of my "shred-ables" forever!! A working woman and never able to participate in the county offered "shred" days. I really needed to organize my home and garage and get rid of documents! Decided to google " shredding services near me". A few sites popped up but I was drawn to The Red Shredder - opened on Sundays and offered a mobile service that allowed the customer to watch the shredding. Sounded too good to be true! I called the Red Shredder and they were able to come to my house the very next day! I cleaned out my home and got rid of a lot of personal documents and did not want to just throw them in the trash. I wanted the stuff gone as soon as possible, did not want to look at it anymore! Usually I take things to Office Depot but I do not like how they have to put it in their shredder by hand (and consequently go through all my papers--what if something falls on the ground??). This was great, everything went into a large bin and then went into the truck and I could watch it get shredded on the little camera. It was $99 to get all my stuff shredded, and that was about six copy paper boxes. That is the minimum price and I think I could have shredded a lot more for the same price if I had the stuff to shred. I was so happy not to have to lug the stuff around, that they came to my house, were fast and friendly. I do not think I will need them again for while, because it will take me a long time to amass that much stuff to shred. They do have scheduled pick up services but it seems like it is more oriented towards businesses. I might look into it, though, because all those bank statements pile up and I won't put them in the trash and I won't take them to Office Depot either. This is a good service. Very straightforward and simple. They gave me a few pricing options when I called including them coming to my house versus me meeting them nearby. Based on my description they were able to accurately estimate how much stuff I had to shred. The next day I called back and they offered me an appointment less than an hour from my call. The process took only 5 minutes. The operator unloaded the stuff from my trunk. I was able to watch the documents get shredded on a little TV Monitor outside the truck. Very cool process.
