I had a nibble (or two) of the BLT-regretting I didn't pick that delicious combo of Bibb lettuce, nice tomatoes, thick bacon & an incredible flavored mayo. Look for the small sign along the trail, or better yet-let your nose find this gem! There is a very welcoming feel here! I would recommend her strawberry-basil drink! Apple cider was warming today! Cheddar brat was very good (made from local meat market). The bruschetta was delicious & crunchy!

My birria de res (beef) came in a generous ceramic bowl with fresh onion, cilantro, and lime wedges and a container of warm tortillas. The broth had a nice deep flavor and just the right amount of fat. I ended up eating the whole thing, tortillas and all. My spouse got a torta (grilled chicken), which was also very good. Against my better judgment, we also got both pumpkin spice arroz con leche and champurrado for dessert. We never had champurrado before, and it was delicious! The arroz con leche was also very sweet and filling. I ate way too much, but I don't regret it. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a generous amount of hot sauce and let us have a small carafe of water with plastic cups at our table. There was metal flatware available for dine-in customers. A much classier experience than most taquerias. The space felt new. Even the bathroom was newly redone and spotless. Shakira was playing for most of the time we were there, which was a bonus for me. I truly have never had a worse experience with a food truck than what I had here. It took over an…read morehour to get our food and we're talking about a burrito bowl I truly don't know how it can possibly take so long to build a burrito bowl. It would be one thing if they were super busy but they weren't, we timed it and they were sending an order out every 15-20 minutes which is an insanely slow rate especially for a taco food truck. That also doesn't include the fact that they were also sending out partial orders as in if someone ordered 2 orders of tacos they were sending one out and then maybe 5-10 minutes later they would get the next order. They were also parked in the parking lot of the restaurant and one of the workers was going back and forth (and probably should've been getting support from the restaurant) and we asked why it was taking so long and he shrugged and said well it's only about double the wait time of the restaurant (not sure that's something to brag about nor does it look good on the restaurant). We even had 3 people in front of us that went and got their money back because of how long it was taking otherwise we might not have gotten our food for another 30 minutes to an hour. After waiting so long we thought this better be the best food ever and honestly it fell super flat. In one of our bowls the meat was half fat and gristly and inedible. I will definitely avoid coming back here ever again.
