We recently completed a rock / blues recording project at Ravensworth Studios. The studio…read moredelivered everything it advertised with so much more. The owners Elizabeth and Greg have created a welcoming, creative retreat- from the moment we arrived we were treated like family... the entire Ravensworth team could not do enough for us. The studio is packed with the latest digital and outboard analog audio equipment ( my bassist and I were psyched to see a UA 6176 sitting to the right of the board) and a huge inventory of amazing mics and vintage cabinets / heads. We were afforded almost an unlimited amount of option to capture the specific sounds for vocals and instruments we envisioned In addition to all this they added a huge amount of technical consulting to our session, with Butch Talylor engineering / arranging the recordings. A big honor for those of us who have been a fan of his work over the years. If you have a recording project that requires professional recording resources and expertise in the Mid- Atlantic region, you really need to invest some time and check out this studio and management team.
