Found the garage on Yelp. The positive reviews were accurate. Had to replace a bad coil. They suggested I replace two other coils to match the rest of all the coils. I had half new and half original coils at the time. From my previous experiences of having to replace a coil, it only made sense to replace the rest. I didn't want to wait for my car to shake a little at the light due to another old coil. Not a good feeling. Replaced the three old coils, and the car is running as normal. The lead mechanic was knowledgeable and will help you understand the issue. Tip - Get there early. They are busy. read more

I just want to say my experience here was just amazing. Before I visited this BMW shop, I went to three different shop to get my car diagnosed. I had few electrical issues and I even took the car to a so called reputable dealer. I paid more than $150 for diagnose fee at the dealership and they told me it was the battery problem. I changed the battery and the problem still existed. Then I decided to give this place a shot, knowing that I always pass by this shop on the way to work and I always see alots of cars (especially BMW) being worked on here. I just want to say the level of commitment, service, and quality of work was beyond I had ever imagined. Obaldo who is the owner used to be one of the main certified tech at the Shelly BMW (another reputable BMW dealership around the OC). He knows exactly what the car is doing and he is just a professional with in mind. I was amazed to see the action he was taking and all the professional BMW specific tools that he had in the shop. He went through all the diagnostic paper and he was pretty sure that this was the causing problem. Not only that Obaldo just quotes the fair and right price at the first time. I had called multiple shops and this was one of the few shop that gave me the fair pricing on the labor, hours, and even parts. First went into the shop thinking I had to spend $$$ but rather than taking my money, they informed me that I had a warranty and told me I could get my problem fixed for free at the dealership. Went back a year later for another problem. I came to this shop on the advise of a dealership owner. He takes all his cars to Obaldo and told me about his background running the service department at a major BMW dealership. My car was diagnosed at a BMW dealership with 2 moderate oil leaks (valve cover gasket & oil housing) plus a transmission seal sleeve leak topped off with a halo light that was out. Total dealer quote? Close to 4k!!! I was bummed big time but after Obaldo gave me an exact quote over the phone (about 1/4 less than dealer price) I was sold! He was very professional and straightforward with everything (pricing, mechanical advise, etc) and told me to pick up my car in a few days. When it came time to pick up my car I was nervous and eager to see/feel if the car performed better after repairs. It ran like the day I purchased maybe better!
