Though the house was always clean, The Real Maids are not trustworthy. My belongings were broken and the cleaners knowingly left the broken pieces in their place without letting me know an accident occurred. Management was unsympathetic and instead scolded me for not realizing the damage until a few days after the cleaning. There has been no ownership from this company about the damages done. It's not about the broken item, it's about allowing people into my home who are trustworthy and honest to get the job done. Expect to assess your home for damages and missing belongings after each cleaning. read more

I needed a quick move out cleaning that would include cleaning everything from my bathrooms to the cabinets to the inside of my fridge. I was hesitant at first to opt for their top tier service but wow! When I walked back inside the house after they had finished, it looked like a model home. Worth every penny that I spent! And then some! They were conscientious and literally did not leave so much as a crumb in the corner of a drawer. Update: After further communication with Erika, we agreed to give it another try. She sent two members of her team out to do a deep clean - to do the job the first team did not do. She also shared with me that the team who originally came to my home was no longer with the company - because she takes the quality of the work her employees do seriously. I only have compliments for this second team who came out to clean. The two ladies did a wonderful job - they took their time, were thorough, asked me periodically if I was pleased with the work they were doing, and they really cared. While we got off to a rocky start, I think it is important to share both the bad and the subsequent good, so that people know that Erika does take things seriously, and does what it takes to make it right. I now give The Real Maids 5 stars! We moved to Apollo Beach from a few hours away, and I hired The Real Maids to perform their most expensive, comprehensive "move-in" cleaning service for $459 (description attached). I put a lock-box on the door, and trusted them to perform the services I paid for when we were not home to monitor them. We arrived at the house the evening before the moving company arrived and if it weren't for the toilet paper being folded into a little triangle like they do in hotels, I would not have thought anyone even showed up. I texted Erika, the owner, and was told that she would need to find a time to have them come out to re-do the work. I explained that I had a full moving team coming at 8am to move us in and that would not work - I was going to have to perform much of the work myself that night. Not a single cabinet or drawer was cleaned, inside or out, the baseboards were not touched (despite the description saying they would all be hand-washed), the light switches were not washed, the oven was not wiped out, and so on. The house is only 8 months old and was already in fairly good shape - which makes me think the cleaning team felt they could get away with not doing anything, but honestly that should have made the job that much easier! The next day a "quality control" person called me, and again, wanted to reschedule to have the team come back out. I explained that I had done much of the work myself and that I wanted a partial refund, and was told "that is unfortunate as we do not give refunds." I informed him that I would be providing honest reviews on social media but still nothing. Later I texted Erika back, and she agreed to a 10% refund, which I accepted, although it was less than fair and equivalent. She asked that I still consider them in the future, as these things happen. So on August 29th, I emailed her, asking to have the team come back out and complete the work they did not do, as she had originally proposed. To this date, Sept 6th, I have not received any response or acknowledgement. I am utterly disappointed, and as a former small business owner myself, I would have promptly replied, and either had my team out there ASAP or provided a full refund. Unfortunately I cannot recommend The Real Maids at all, nor do I understand why my experience was so vastly different than the other, positive reviews I had read. We have been using the Real Maids for about a year and have zero complaints. They are on time (you even get a text when they are on their way) and they've done a thorough job cleaning each time. We have 2 dogs and a cat so there are plenty of nooks and crannies that could get missed with the hair floating around but they manage to clean it all, they even vacuum the couch! They are licensed, bonded and insured which was important to us as well over picking an individual that may be cheaper. During Covid times, the maids have masks on the entire time so that was reassuring. We look forward to having them clean the house each time! They do a much better job than we could :) read more

I got a deep clean and the cleaning was mediocre, they did not clean the grout or corners very well in the kitchen or bathrooms (which the house was completely empty). After the cleaning, they told me that my payment was returned so I checked with my bank and it was NOT returned and it was deducted out of my account. They want me to pay double the amount and will not stop emailing me an invoice. I have proven over and over again that the amount was deducted from my account and they will not stop harrassing me about it. read more

In the beginning they were terrific. Then each visit little things were happening, a button on my dresser was gone ( i presume knocked off and vacuumed ), part of my calendar in my office was knocked off and vacuumed also ( found a piece of it under my desk). Things moved and not put back....but I guess the clincher was when my fiance spoke with an office person and they took the side of the maid. the maid had stated they had left at 1pm when in fact they left much earlier, I was home for lunch and left to go back at 12:35 and the maids had left before me. They were very fast this time and not efficient. The electric blanket ( that was plugged in ) was taken off the bed and placed across from the bed with the cord where someone could trip over it. My fiance's bedside table has toothpicks on it , always, they were all thrown away...if you aren't sure, ask. I have found another company and i am very sad that this company couldn't do more to make us less unhappy. read more

Yulimar and her assistant showed up on time and did an amazing job. Due to health issues my husband and I haven't been able to do more than what we had no choice to clean. These ladies are the real deal. We recently did some construction in our home and there was dust everywhere. The initial cleaning was fantastic. They did baseboards, fan blades, showers(which look better than it ever has ), ac vents and even the bottom of my office chairs. I was very impressed.
