When we selected our laminate flooring, we were expecting a team of installers. We got one guy, a sub-contractor. When that guy accidentally broke my pipes, flooding the house, they sent the owner over to tell me they would reimburse only a fraction of what I had to pay to get a plumber in after-hours to repair it. The floor creaked from the day it was installed, and the owner's response was to criticize the product we selected. There was a low spot in the finished job that required the installation of an extra threshold. The installer made repeated return visits to our home to address the issue, but failed to properly repair it, and the flooring still sags. Bottom line: For our project, at least, John Moore Flooring didn't stand behind their workmanship, and didn't stand behind their product.

We ended up finding a nice LVP option that worked well with our house. The install team was scheduled quickly and finished the job within a few days. The install team worked efficiently, were kind and cleaned up after themselves. LG Kramer really took the time to make sure everything went smoothly. Even after a year, we are receiving great service. Recently we chose to update a bathroom vanity, which left a gap in the flooring. We called and asked if they could cosmetically fix our section and sure enough they had an installer out here quickly and we are back to new. So thankful for Gianna's warm heart and the amazing crews they have helping their clients.

I'm not in construction, but am a better contractor than he is!! The price quoted seemed reasonable but the responsiveness and service provided was atrocious! I realize there is lead time in ordering materials, but had I not continued to hound Marlon I don't think the job would have ever happened! When the job did occur, it was all screwed up! We were getting replacement French Doors installed. First of all, we had to provide final payment before Marlon would allow his guys to even start the job. The check I gave Marlon was cashed before the guys were even done. We both work from home, so I guess we should've supervised the job, but we were paying for the job so we shouldn't have to supervise it, right? Well, the guys leave and then we check out the doors to find out they were installed backwards. Swing-out doors with internal blinds were installed as swing-in doors so the blind controls ended up on the outside of the house! After about three weeks of hounding, Marlon, he finally sent his guys back out to check it out. Did they fix the doors? NO!! They continued to insist that they were installed correctly and left. I ended up having to hire somebody else to turn the doors around and pay them to do it so now the reasonable quote was no longer reasonable! I told Marlon about it, and he promised he would repay me for the door re-install. After 2 months of asking and reminding him he never did so here is his review. Never ever hire Tricolor Flooring or you may end up with Marlon and you will regret it.

Some of the flooring has split, resulting in me putting blue tape on them. I have called several times almost immediately and then another two more times. After several weeks passed, I noticed what appeared to be water stains by the corner of our sliding glass patio door. They came and said it was caused by the sun. I bought a wood moisture meter which read over 27%. This is in the red zone for water saturation, and far exceeds manufacturers allowable limits. I sent them an email with the results. Their email response was that it was probably due to both the sun and water. They eventually came and looked at it and left without a commitment to fix it. I suspected the underlying problem was due to a bad installation. Removal of 6 feet of wood all along the doors revealed they hadn't properly installed approved waterproof underlayment. I sent them pictures. Finally, after weeks of back and forth emails, the foreman for the our installation came to the hours to effect repairs (so we thought). Instead, he argued about our findings, angrily and verbally attempted to intimidate us, waved his arms around, and slammed the door behind him when he left. What he didn't know was that the whole episode was captured on our home security system. The company offered to come yet once again, but we decided we had enough. We now have to focus on repairs. Legal action is and will remain on the table. Our advice? Don't do business with this company!
