John Moore Flooring - New 2x4 wall art tiles!

John Moore Flooring

John Moore Flooring in Sun City Center may have some satisfied customers somewhere. I am sorry to…read moresay we are not among them. Our flooring project was a total nightmare. When we selected our laminate flooring, we were expecting a team of installers. We got one guy, a sub-contractor. When that guy accidentally broke my pipes, flooding the house, they sent the owner over to tell me they would reimburse only a fraction of what I had to pay to get a plumber in after-hours to repair it. The floor creaked from the day it was installed, and the owner's response was to criticize the product we selected. There was a low spot in the finished job that required the installation of an extra threshold. The installer made repeated return visits to our home to address the issue, but failed to properly repair it, and the flooring still sags. Bottom line: For our project, at least, John Moore Flooring didn't stand behind their workmanship, and didn't stand behind their product.

They are uplifting to work with, and always polite. I believe…read morethey have had a store for over 20 years in Sun City Center. When I buy a new house they are the only people I want doing my floors. There prices are competitive with other stores,if I invest a lot of money into a home,I do not want to have a guy somewhere with no business other than a van doing them. As kind as they have been to us over the years, it would be good to know how many thousands of jobs they have done, compared To some guy in a truck. I have spoken to John many times, and he has never said anything off color to me. The least someone who has a issue with John should do is provide their name and what the date of job was . Sun City Center is a friendly place, and we seniors like to see people treated fairly.

STAY AWAY. They have a high employee turnover rate, I've had to deal with 3 different "project…read moremanagers" since my project started and no one is on the same page. Communication is very difficult with them. They tell you their work is warrantied and but then find any excuse to not fix their mistakes. We had LVP laid and twice they've had to replace the transition strips and they're still coming up because their team doesn't know what they're doing.

hired Perfect Choice Flooring to replace the carpet in my bedroom with tile. The experience was…read moreincredibly frustrating from start to finish. After paying a 50% deposit on July 10, I was told I would be scheduled immediately. That didn't happen. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a start date. Communication was poor and unprofessional, with broken promises and missed callbacks. The crew finally arrived on July 29. The tile was installed with an extremely thin grout line--something I was never asked to approve but chose to accept. They said they would return the next day to grout and then come back the following day to move the heavy furniture back, which was the agreement I had in place with their representative. Instead, they grouted the next day and replaced the furniture less than an hour later, ignoring the recommended 24-hour grout curing time. When I called the project manager, his dismissive response was, "What do you want them to do?" The crew came back to remove the furniture, clearly annoyed, and became argumentative and disrespectful in my home. One even said they used a thin grout line specifically so they could move the furniture sooner. Later, I was contacted by someone in management, Jonny Sibrian, whose tone was equally rude and condescending. I explained I was arranging a third-party inspection to ensure the tile wasn't damaged due to rushed furniture placement or the use of vinegar (an acidic cleaner that can harm uncured grout). Instead of understanding, he accused me--twice--of trying to avoid paying my bill and even made a veiled threat. I've always paid for quality work, and I fully intend to pay the balance if the job passes inspection. But the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespect I experienced with this company were unacceptable. I would not recommend Perfect Choice Flooring to others based on how I was treated or the quality of their work.
