We just wrapped up our fourth mortgage with Mark Raskin and his team. Zero complaints and you won't find anyone that won't work harder than they will. read more

I worked directly with Mark Raskin as a first-time homebuyer, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The most frustrating part was not my credit score itself, but the lack of proactive guidance. Before my mortgage application, I believed my credit score was much higher than it actually was. Once my credit was pulled, it became clear that there was a significant gap between my expectations and reality. However, I was never proactively informed about the situation, its impact on my mortgage options, or potential remedies that might have been available. I later learned about rapid rescore through my own research rather than from my lender. Given my credit profile, this was something I believe should at least have been discussed. Instead, I remained unaware of important information that could have affected my decisions during a very time-sensitive period. When I later reached out with questions, I did not feel supported or educated as a first-time borrower. Conversations often felt rushed and dismissive, and I was repeatedly told that I could simply refinance later. While refinancing may be an option in the future, it is not free, effortless, or a substitute for helping borrowers understand all available options before closing. As a first-time homebuyer, I expected more proactive communication, guidance, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. read more

Mark and the team at Prime were fantastic throughout the homebuying process. My 2nd deal was a complicated and long short sale and Mark was highly effective throughout the entire process. Easily reached, direct and clear communication, timely, accurate, and informative are all apt descriptions of my experience. Mark was able to take very aggressive timelines imposed by the sellers lenders and guide us to a fully funded closing in less than 30 days! Very impressed with the service and successful closure. Thanks Mark and Team! read more

Mark is truly the best of the best. He will shoot you straight and make sure you are fully informed when you are making the largest (and most stressful) purchase of your life. If you are looking for a true advisor through the entire home buying process, Mark is your guy. He has tons of experience and an excellent team. I've called on hundreds of loan originators throughout my career in mortgage and no one compares to Mark Raskin. He is a wonderful human being who truly cares about his clients and does everything he can to get you the very best deal. I have worked in the mortgage industry for 15 years and have seen every type of loan originator there is. Mark sets himself apart with his service, experience, and expertise. I can count on one hand the loan originators I would recommend to my family and friends and Mark is number 1. If you are thinking about buying a home, call Mark. He will be helpful, he will be kind, and he will advise you every step of the way. read more

Went to through a whole process and more payed contracts for inspections and other fees every time we contacted him we felt rushed and like we should have known everything about the whole process we felt to intimidated to ask further questions got the house bid and was assured It was smooth being a first time home buyer I was unaware about some taxes I had to submit about being self employed but once we mentioned it it seems like we we took 10 steps back if we would have been informed in time we would corrected It,But at the end after we were assured we had it and had completed the entire process was when we were informed. Mr. Raskins was bold enough to say that if he knew he would not have pushed as far as we did , I had not known about submitting self employed money being one of my first jobs as a delivery driver I thought it's was taken care off on their behalf none the less I fixed my taxes and payed the penalty At the end it was just a huge upset toured the house and got the bid ,house got appraised and we were ready to moved in in a month but thanks to to their team We lost the house and a few 1000s dollars in fees. Would not recommend to minorities or first time home buyers read more

Mark and his team are the best in the business. You want a lender who is fast, efficient and communicative. Mark is all 3. We needed to have a very fast closing period to secure our home, but Mark had no problem getting all of our financing in order, even though it meant working over Thanksgiving. He was very thorough in explaining all of the financial options that we had available, and he even referred us to an amazing real estate agent. There is a reason that Mark has so many 5 star reviews. He is a true professional and I cannot recommend him highly enough. read more

Super helpful and responsive - offered so much guidance to these two first time homeowners navigating this crazy market! We are so thankful to the Raskin team for all of their support through this process! read more

Mark was extremely responsive and answered all my questions. As this was my first time working with a lender and purchasing a home he spent extra time with me and provided me resources to make sure I understood all the terms and implications of different things. He connected us with a great local agent and made the process extremely seamless. I highly recommend Mark and PrimeLending, especially for first time home buyers. read more

Mark Tasking and his team at Prime Lending we're great to work with. He was timely and thorough in his communication, and he worked hard to move up our closing not once but twice. And, of course, I feel great about the loan we ultimately received. read more

My husband and I just bought our first house in DFW, and we honestly couldn't be happier with the service Mark and his team provided. We got a great rate, and the whole experience was not only easy, but actually pleasant! There's so much stress involved in buying a home, and it makes all the difference to work with kind, helpful people that genuinely care about your experience. My husband and I often have conflicting schedules, so having the option to file most of our paperwork electronically was super helpful. We closed on our house a little over a month after starting our search! If you're in the market for a home, go with Mark and his team. They are absolutely the best people to work with. read more

Mark was referred to us by our selling realtor to help us with the financing on the new home we were looking to buy. Mark was very easy to talk to, and always took the time to explain parts of the process that were unclear to me. He was always reachable by phone or email, and promptly returned my calls/emails/text messages. I cannot recommend him highly enough! read more

I reached out to Mark because of the glowing yelp reviews and was happy that I did. Mark did a great job and I'd definitely recommend him to other folks shopping for a mortgage. His rates are very competitive and he is very quick to respond to you and answer all of your questions. Do yourself a favor and contact Mark when you begin your search for a mortgage, you won't regret it. read more

Who would have thought I'd find my mortgage broker on Yelp. Sitting at the Starbucks on Preston and Campbell, I had narrowed my choice to 2 lenders but wanted one more. I pulled up Yelp and did a search around my "current location". 5 stars, right across the street....I thought, let's give this guy a call. I initially picked Mark because he gave me the best rate and presented options I hadn't considered... What a bonus to get the best, most personal service too. Mark even showed up at the title company, sat down and added flavor to answers while we signed and closed on our new house. Who does that? Mark and his team will be my mortgage broker for life. Give him a call. You won't be disappointed. read more

Mark continues to impress and I can't believe it has been nearly five years since I applauded him. They are such top notch people and truly care about your experience with them. read more

Mark Raskin and his team are absolutely the best in the business. My husband and I have now used Mark for 2 refinances and 11 home loan purchases. We have used him as homeowners and real estate investors to help us get loans. His rates were incredibly competitive, his service was top notch and he always shot straight with us on what our best options were. I have always felt like he had our best interest in mind, instead of just trying to "sell us something." He also offers a Free one time Float Down option that allows us to re-lock our loan if interest rates drop before we close on our home, so we never have buyer's remorse on when we lock our rate. I can't say enough good things about him and his team and recommend him to everyone we run across! read more

My husband (Wesley Loon) and I decided about 4 months ago to move from New Jersey to D/FW to be closer to my family. Since Wesley and I had lived in the Northeast for nearly 30 years, it was a bit of a daunting thought about packing up and moving cross-country back to Texas. Besides getting our place sold in NJ, we knew one of the first things we needed to do was to find a team that would help us get established in the D/FW area. After spending a day researching on the internet, there was one obvious stand-out...The Raskin Team with PrimeLending. The glowing and high-mark reviews seemed endless. I placed a call, left a short message, and within about an hour, I got a call directly from Mark Raskin himself. He was traveling for business but made sure he got back to me in a timely matter, even though he was just about to board a plane to head home. As soon as we spoke, I felt a sense of relief. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from his business partner, Ryan Miles. And the rest is history. Ryan, Mark and their team, including Jade, walked us through every step of the way to our dream home in Flower Mound. They truly cared about what was best for us, and we honestly believe they went above and beyond what a mortgage lender would traditionally do for their clients. I'll say it again...they sincerely cared and wanted what was best (and right) for us. I understand now why they had by far the most stellar reviews across the board. They are the best there is. Thank you to Mark, Ryan, Jade and the entire Raskin Team for making our transition to this new amazing chapter of our lives so easy and perfect. You guys rock. Kris and Wesley read more

My wife and I were very pleased with our interaction with Mark Raskin (cc'd). We've had the pleasure of working on four home purchases with Mark and each has gone off without a hitch and he's usually been prepared early. Last week, we learned we could close a week early. We also were able to take advantage of your new digital signing technology which saved us each 23 signatures that could instead be done with clicks on our phones at the table. If Mark is representative of the team you have at Prime Lending, then you have an amazing team. He's been terrific to work with. His sense of humor in a rather humorless and normally painful process is also greatly appreciated. read more

I guess Mark doesn't need many more details since he's already got a bunch of 5-star reviews, but add my wife and me to the list of satisfied customers. Exceeded expectations on all levels. Closed ahead of schedule. Good email and phone communication. EXCELLENT team of people working for him. Lots of moving parts that all working well together to help us close ahead of schedule. Very grateful. And Mark's a funny dude - you'll enjoy working with him. And he'll be happy to hear (again) that I'm so glad we didn't go with Wells Fargo, who was far less responsive and dropped the ball a couple of times during the application process. read more

Mark and his team are phenomenal. He took the time to get to know me and my family and how he could best assist us in our new home purchase. Buying a new home is a stressful time but he really did make it easy. I can not recommend Mark and his team at Prime Lending enough. They have a customer for life. read more

Mark Raskin is great. I've known Mark for years & is just wonderful to work with! I wouldn't work with anyone else

While I appreciate Jerry's opinion, it sucks that his review is the only one showing up and there are 3 filtered 5 star reviews for Mark Raskin. But, I guess that is what Yelp is all about, right? I know this guy professionally and have worked closely with him several times to get clients closed on time. He's always been a miracle worker and has even advised me on my own home loan situation. I hope it works out for you Jerry on your purchase. You are in good hands! read more

Called Mark on a Friday afternoon about getting a possible mortgage for an investment property in Texas. The mortgage amount was small (less than $30k) and Mark gave me some honest advice on how I should deal with a small loan like that. I can't say enough great things about this team. My fiancé and I were first time home buyers and to say we had a lot of questions is an understatement. Ryan spent hours on the phone with us throughout this process to make sure that all of our answers were addresses and made the process so much easier. From the prequal to closing everything went smooth and we felt confident that we had the best team on our side working with us. Highly recommend this team for all your lending needs! read more

Mark Raskin and Jill Summers were so wonderful in helping me get a mortgage and so informative as to what would be the best option for me financially in the long term. I wasn't sure that I would qualify, I had some savings but no where near 20% for the down. They were able to fix me up with something that I could live with and that put me in my first home. Due to some last minute counteroffers, we were running short on time to get everything done and still make the closing that the seller was insistent on. Aubre and Julie worked seemingly round the clock and it demonstrates what a great team of people these are that everyone pitched in and got it done and we made our closing date! I can't thank Mark, Jill, Aubre, and Julie enough for making my dream of owning my own home come true. They are a truly magical team of people! read more

We have worked with Mark Raskin on several occasions over the last 10+ years (home purchases and refinancing) and his service and attention to detail has always been top notch! We always receive competitive rates and have never had issues during closing that would delay the process. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending Prime Lending and Mark Raskin to others and have recommended him to friends and family. I know others that have worked with him have had the same excellent experience that we have. read more

This team is incredible!! I needed to relocate to DFW in a hurry!! I could not have chosen a better team!! Mark Raskin and his team went above and beyond with customer service and efficiency. After helping us get our financing in order he put us in touch with Van Poole Properties where we worked with Rayna Lee and Meleese Hoss and the entire team at Van Poole Properties to help us find and buy our new home. This is by far the best experience I have had buying a home. A better group of people to have in your corner when buying a home you won't find anywhere!!! My husband and I just closed last November 30 using PrimeLending under Mark Raskin's team. Being first time homebuyers, I'm a little picky and I always do research first before committing. I contacted Mark based of reviews and I'm glad I did. They definitely exceeded our expectations and they're on top of everything. All questions were answered before and after application, and the whole team is very helpful and informative. They're honest about rates and fees, they even have a float down rate feature but unfortunately I wasn't able to avail that being rates didn't went down within the application period. This PrimeLending branch under Mark's management is highly recommended. A few pointers about them follows: Loan Type: serves almost all kinds, if you are first-time homebuyer don't forget to inquire about PrimeLending's Mortgage Certificate Program or the Assistance Program but this is based of household income eligibility. Pre-payment Penalty: none Lock Rate: yes, I think ours is 30 if not 45 day period for free (didn't really pay attention much on this one being we're closing before that period ends and I'm confident we can close on the day we want). Float Down Rate Feature: yes, as long as you close with them and if you can't get financing with them it'll be free. If you withdraw your application then you will have to pay for this, you'll receive all this kind of disclosure from them so don't worry as long as you read and understand them before signing l. Mortgage Fees: average and typical, I'll say it's about average price compared to other lenders. Some lenders might advertise low fees but be sure to ask about what's included because there's definitely third party fees and miscellaneous fees also if you want to pay for points. PrimeLending gives credit in exchange of a little bit higher rate which I think most lenders are as well but at least you know PrimeLending does. Way of Communication: email and phone, so this is how our transaction went which I prefer anyway. We've uploaded and/or email everything to them. Whenever there's an important doc that we need to address, they'll email us back and respond quickly or give us a call about it so there will be no delay and be able to close on target date. Everyone is on top of everything and also make sure to do your part on sending documents back to them asap. Which in my case, I have all documents ready, saved, and scanned even before contacting them which I think helps in the smooth sailing process. I'm also just always uploading current statements and pay stubs every time I receive them using their site where you can create an account. Closing: we closed on time and we received the approval and funding notice days before our closing day and the period from the day of our application to preferred closing day is not even 30-day period, although I was pre-qualified before then. Mark wasn't able to attend the closing but he sent Ryan to be with us which our realtor agent Mark Isler -mark@sumrealtor.com (highly recommended realtor agent too) even said, typically lenders don't show up on closing so this is a plus in case you have last minute question about your loan. Final Verdict: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I can't say enough of all the work Mark and Ryan and their team do to make sure we got our home. Their advice and work arounds to make sure the mortgage was approved but also find the best ways to save us money. When people talk about "white glove" customer service, the team certainly with no question do that. Normally, going through a purchase can be mentally tough and hard to deal with. Their team make it seamless and take care of everything. In an industry where it is hard to trust people, you would have no worries with these guys. I will let everyone I know to use Mark and Ryan and Prime Lending to help with purchasing or refinancing. read more

He was able to help me improve my credit score and eliminate my debt while still proceeding with a conventional loan. I am in a much better position now than I was before I met with Mark.
