I am thoroughly impressed with this place. Everything was spot on. The atmosphere, the customer service, the pool, the drinks, and especially the food- all amazing. It is probably one of the most intimate settings I have been to. The owners were always available. The bartender was attentive. The service was laid back and homey. We even sat at a campfire with the executive chef while he served up cobbler for everyone. What a great escape from the city.

I can't say enough good things about The Range. The perfect mix of boutique, and bliss. The owners are wonderful people who treat every visitor like a member of the family. Such a relaxing and fun time, try to be there on one of the nights that they serve food, they do a fabulous job! Everyone there gives too of the line service. Can't wait to return! Thanks to Sara & Shelly for all they did to make our visit so special.

Decided to take a mini staycation and this was the perfect place especially during this time of social distancing. Sarah, her husband and her cutie pie daughter were extremely welcoming and responsive to any needs I had. The only thing you really need to bring is your toothbrush and toothpaste, clothes, and food. In the kitchen of your trailer you are provided with a fridge, Nespresso machine with pods, microwave, dishes, utensils, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, and other basic kitchen items( cutting board, rings, etc.). Since I wanted to make pancakes during my stay I brought an electric griddle, but I'm sure there's a way to make pancakes on the charcoal grill if you have the right pan. In the bathroom you are provided with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and septic safe toilet paper. Bath towels, wash cloths, and hand towels are provided as well. A separate bath house for the whole resort is provided if you'd like to take a longer shower with more room. Within the bathhouse building there are also guest laundry facilities. The trailer shower was enough for me, so I didn't utilize the bathhouse. There are beautiful ponds that you can fish from, a community fire pit which was lit up on Friday and Saturday of my stay, and they even brought around ice cream on Saturday! This place was quiet to the point you thought you were the only one there. They are still working on getting the finishing touches completed which include a pool and a full service restaurant on the premises, but there is a place not too far from the resort that has yummy sushi and the town of Ennis isn't too far to get you chick-fil-a or Whataburger fix if you need. One other thing I would like to mention is that I unexpectedly needed a tampon and Sarah rushed over a huge bag of them to me. I know I am probably leaving something out, but I highly recommend this place to anyone seeing some much needed R&R.

We had the best weekend at The Range Vintage Trailer Resort in July, 2020. As long-time campers and backpackers, we thought this would be a nice socially-distanced vacation. We've talked about getting a camper someday and this was a great way to try one out. We stayed in the 1967 Airstream. We loved the propane fire pit (and fired it up for S'mores, even though it was in the 90s). We cooked foil dinners on the Webber charcoal grill. And during the day, we explored nearby Corsicana (Collin Street Bakery, y'all!) We met other campers around the communal fire pit, which was just a short walk from our site. The trails are marked and lit. There is a horse farm next door - the llama came out to visit! We liked that our Airstream was well-equipped with nice dishes, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and soap. This was nicer than the cabin we stayed in at another popular venue in Oklahoma. The owners are just so nice and worked hard to be sure we had everything we needed. We want this to be a successful venture for them! We walked around to visit the other trailers and pick out our next venue. Our goal is to try them all!

Want a true resort weekend? Just book it! Take your own Airstream or book one of their adorable vintage trailers. Fabulous dinners and special events, tasty drinks from the bar, winding walking trails, beautiful and peaceful scenery, and super friendly owners and staff. Don't miss out on this little piece of paradise.

Loved every second I was there! The atmosphere is beautiful! Went with a group of friends and we all had the best time! We will definitely be back! Also you'll meet the nicest people! Thank you to everyone who made sure we had a great time!

We loved our stay at The Range this weekend! Very secluded sites with tons of trees, two fishing ponds, an Airstream bar and on Saturday nights they serve Wagyu beef with Mac and cheese, green beans, loaded baked potato and for an appetizer they had homemade pimento cheese, rolls, crackers!!! Sarah and Paul-the owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome with texts telling you when the fire pit and bar will be open to letting us stay well past check out time. I highly recommend this place! And if you don't have an Airstream currently you can rent one of theirs (or vintage trailers).

Man, was I happy to find Palestine RV Park! It's a fairly small park tucked away in the trees, with many long-term residents. However, they also cater to short term stays. I had my trailer there for four days. The sites are huge, with 30 and 50 amp electrical, water, and sewer. Roads in and around the park are asphalt paved, but the sites are unpaved, and it's fine sand that gets in EVERYTHING, so be sure to bring some doormats or something. The park is quiet (park rules say that quiet hours are from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, lol) and pitch dark at night, but there are pole lamps at the sites that you can plug in and use if you need additional lighting. Angela, the owner, met me at the gate in her UTV and led me directly to my site, where she did the paperwork and payment, then offered to help me set up my trailer! There's a nice laundry and shower building near the entrance. The park has controlled access with keypads and a gate controller, and you can come and go as you please. Everyone I encountered there was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay there again! p.s. Be sure to look for Bigfoot when you're there! ;-)

After waiting a couple months, I called to check. They said I should get it, but I believe they were just hoping I would give up and let it slide. At first, I wasn't too sure about the stay here because it looked unkempt. But, I later found out that it had been raining for weeks before I got there, so the owner didn't have a chance to get the grass mowed due to the rains. So that was totally forgivable. After I got settled with the dogs and got situated, I took them to the dog park which is what I would consider HUGE! What a great place to give my two very active Boxers a place to run around and do their business - and get some exercise. Although, I do wish a bit more was done to get more grass in the dog park as there were some bare spots where water and mud would gather. But it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I was just happy to have a place for my boys to get out some energy. All the hookups worked great. I didn't have a chance to use the laundry facility (I used a laundromat that was in Kaufman), or the mail pickup as I had an office to go to for that. Kaufman is a 5-8 min drive where there's plenty of food and grocery shopping options - so the location is quiet and ideal. Special Note: Getting to the park, you have to drive through a residential neighborhood - so if you're going to stay here, please be good visitors and observe the speed limit signs. All in all, a good experience and if I have to do an extended stay in the area again - I will make reservations here.

It is an older hotel so don't expect a new one, BUT it is really well kept. My wife is a clean freak and the 1st stop is the bathroom to inspect. The room was remodeled and it was done well, attention to detail could be seen. The room was also very clean over all. The breakfast was simple but the eggs, biscuits and gravy seemed to be actually homemade, can't say one way or another but they seemed to be better than say other chain hotels that serve similar breakfasts. They also had the waffle maker that the chain hotels have. This is a two story hotel with no elevators, just stairs. So overall we will definitely stay here whenever we are in the area. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

They claimed the crew left and wasn't there, but the drill and hammer noise said otherwise. They never stopped the work and it made it impossible to sleep. Not good when working a night shift! I could only manage 3 hours of sleep before they started banging away. They shouldn't book rooms near a room that is getting renovated! They did give me my money back, but I was unable to find another hotel to check in at 10:30am, so I had to try to sleep in my truck, which didn't happen. Absolutely no forethought into their actions and it was a total bust. Definitely not going back. It was a horrible experience.
