The ceremony area is lovely, filled with blossoms and hummingbirds, the sound of horses in the background, beautiful courtyard and dance floor, a playground for the little ones, fire pit, plenty of guest parking, security...it is a wonderful choice for any occasion! I LOVED that place as a kid. And Lucas and I have been hoping that seeing them working on it means they are getting it up and running again. Well, today there were 3 cars out front on the way home so I decided to stop in! Unfortunately, my childhood mini golf course is not coming back to life. BUT the owner invited me in to check out the new events venue THE PAVILION! And it is pretty dang cool. It will be completed soon and is open to book for weddings and any other types of events! He is also hoping to (possibly) host a concert summer series out by the old bumper boat pond and an Octoberfest (starting next year) with beer and venues at each of the 18 holes (). So it might not be a resurrection of the miniature golf course like we'd hoped, but it's still pretty exciting to have something local hosting some fun events! The place looks amazing and a great view for any event! My review obviously is not based on an experience of hosting an event there, but the owner was really cool and the venue itself is pretty awesome! Definitely something to check out

The venue has an old Victorian type style to it. Plenty of shade for those hot summer events. The area for the wedding is a short walk from the reception area. They have a bar and very nice bathroom area. It is hard to find a problem with this venue. You do have to drive over a narrow bridge that might stress some drivers. I've driven over it in a full size pickup with no problem. The food was excellent and plenty of it. I would suggest this place for your event.

They include so much including the furniture and lighting, and we got a good deal on the dance floor. We chose this venue because it encompasses what we love about Visalia, with the greenery and the oak trees. Many of my guests have commented on how beautiful it was and thought it was very unique. The only concerns were regarding the bridge getting to the venue, but we did not have problems with it, and with getting our rentals out the night of the wedding, but it was easy to coordinate. The food was amazing, as we expected from Fugazzis. From the time of our tasting, we knew the food was going to be good. We had ample choices for our appetizers, the entree options were delicious and plentiful, the desserts were really good, and the late night tacos were a huge hit for our guests. Silvia was so helpful in planning the day. From coordinating with my vendors, to answering all of our questions, she helped the day go smoothly. She is very knowledgable and had good suggestions for our other vendors as we were doing our research. Overall, it was a great day, and I am so happy that we chose to have it at Victorian Garden.

It was very easy for a very young child to walk around the whole area, no stroller needed. There were lots of animals to see, feed and pet. My only concern is that camel is in an extremely small space as is the longhorn cow. Some goats and llamas have no shade or shelter during the day. I did not see anybody being unkind to the pets, but there was not enough staff to patrol the people and keep the animals safe. Some of the animals backed away when I tried to pet them, even though I was being gentle. I hope they have alternative space and shelter to the ones I saw.

She stood out instantly. She sent me links, and information. And a list of vendors to get on the phone right away. (Free of charge) and once we got on the phone she was extremely professional, funny, and sincere. She knew what I needed, and right away I knew I had to work with her. We made an instant connection, and I'm SO glad I found her! Throughout the past 9 months, Janice was available to me for questions I had, planning, she went with me to every vendor, helped picked our vendors, and was there for every step. Eventually I was calling her my "wedding mom". Haha! She is worth her weight in gold, and I couldn't have done it without her. My wedding was 2 weeks ago.. and it was BEAUTIFUL! Janice took control and made our dream wedding come true! Complete with my dorky Harry Potter stuff, and my husbands love for sports- she made it elegant and fun in such a seamless way. She even has an arsenal of wedding supplies and helped by bringing some of her own supplies! As well as her supplies, her vendors she works with were phenomenal! We used her caterer, make up artist, Dj (DjErick Ve) , florist , photographer, and party rentals. EVERY one of these vendors were amazing.. and a pleasure to work with. And they all worked amazing together with Janice. EVERYONE loved our wedding and we are still hearing about it from everyone. I couldn't believe the amount of detail and finesse she put into my day. And the whole time (even with the inevitable hiccups that happen- stupid ice guy never showed up) she handled everything the day of , figured it out, and allowed me and my new husband to enjoy wedding without us even knowing! If you're looking for a wedding planner that is not only VERY skilled and knowledgeable about what she does, but also someone who cares about YOU and your day. She is the one to call. Janice has become someone I love! And you better believe she will be invited to my future baby showers, and parties! Because not only is she professional.. she's a freaking BLAST to be around!
