We got so many compliments on the service, and drinks that Veronica and her husband served our guests. They were very friendly, attentive, and fast. We would definitely recommend them to anyone and we will definitely use them for all of our upcoming events.

I frantically got online to start calling companies and VR was the first one i came across and called. She said no problem, we'll be there. Emailed me a contract, i sent her a Venmo and that's how quick and easy it was! I literally did not have to do a darn thing. They showed up on time, dressed professionally, reasonably priced, and did a fantastic job behind the bar. I received several compliments on their professionalism, how quickly they got drinks out, and their ability to interact with my guests. The last thing you want is to have to worry about your vendors and they were completely self sufficient and awesome. I got lucky finding this company and that they were available on such short notice, so don't wait like me! But I would recommend them to anyone, over and over.

Top Shelf Events & Special Occasions - Started out good, but ended up with 2 wasted bartenders. Very disappointed.

I want to say that I am not the one who signed the contract for this vendor and so while I am not 100% familiar with the contract, I would still assume that some of the actions on behalf of the owners/bartenders/employees were a breach of contract. If they "weren't", they were just plain disrespectful and unprofessional. This vendor was hired as a mobile bartender, where the event supplies the alcohol, and they serve it for you. The day of, as the event started, the service was well enough! The bartenders left most of the guests feeling positively about the service that was being offered. They had a very cute and unique set up, and offered their own selfie booth, which was fun for the guests! They had three staff members with them to assist with keeping the line to a minimum, which was helpful because it was HOT that day and people were thirsty! Before and during dinner I would say that my review would've been five stars for these folks! I even remember making a mental note about that. (Note: I was NOT drinking, as I was 9 months pregnant during this event.) THEN, at around 9:15 PM I was informed that one of the bartenders was drunk and that her team was trying to get her a ride home. This was disappointing, but I also figured that the vendor brought with them three employees who could continue business with the other two (continue serving, take inventory, close up, etc.) Except I, along with several of our family members and our coordinator observed the female bartenders visibly in inebriated states- stumbling, far off gazes, etc. It was embarrassing and they could no longer do the job they were hired for. We were no longer dealing with professionals, and no they were not "off the clock" at this time. (And were most definitely NOT off the clock when they were drinking the alcohol that our family provided for OUR event.) Again, this "business" is for the bartenders SERVICE, the event provides the alcohol that is being served (beer, wine and spirits). While "their team" was closing down (9:30/9:45), our family was loading what we can still only hope to be all of the leftover beer, hard seltzer's, bottles, mixers & other beverages...I noticed one of the bartenders went to her vehicle with an arm full of seltzers to take with her. No permission was given to her to do this. (Even though, I'm sure under "normal, professional" circumstances we probably would have let her/offered it-like we did with food to all our vendors!!) This action really upsets me, because she had already drunk enough to make her visibly inebriated, and was now proceeding to take more alcohol with her home, without permission, and honestly, we can't be sure what else they took. The next day when we were doing our own inventory at our home we had a decent amount of beer and hard seltzers in all closed cases... but only 2 out of 12 hard alcohol bottles left over. Yes, it was a large wedding (~140 people), however not everyone was drinking hard alcohol....I am still VERY skeptical that 10 Costco size hard alcohol bottles were used and only two were left. But how will we ever know, because two out of three of these "professionals" were unable to do their job properly and did not verify with anyone. I want to be extremely clear that I have no ill will towards these individuals themselves, however when a professional service is paid for, I do expect professional behavior from the individuals that are hired. Additionally, because of their inebriated states, they both needed "rides" home. And we did not realize until we were all packed and loaded and ready to go (10:40pm) that one of them left their vehicle on the property. A property that had a STRICT "nothing left behind rule". Our coordinator was, after three phone calls and several text messages, finally able to get a hold of the bartender to confirm that the vehicle was theirs (we knew, since their business sticker was on the back window). The Property gave us instructions to have the vehicle out by the next day at 10 AM and I was rather upset that I had to go back to the property the next morning to make sure that one of our "professionally hired" vendors' vehicles was off the property so that we would not face an additional fine. Once again I want to reiterate that the night started off well enough with this vendor, but ended up leaving us wishing we had hired someone else, and left me wanting me to tell you all, that you probably should too. Owners, the idea of your business is a useful concept, but you 100% need to separate your professional selves from your personal selves. Especially when your services are being paid for. This was completely unacceptable behavior.
