You would think that an owner who is trying to sell the business would make an extra effort to take care of the customers and staff. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. The owner has not always been friendly or helpful toward the staff or customers. After being regulars almost every Thursday for 10 years, you would think we would at least be recognized, but apparently that didn't matter. Over the past couple of months, we experienced several issues. On more than one occasion, our pizza was not properly cooked. Another time, it took about 90 minutes for our food to arrive. There were also several occasions when the dining room was closed. On one of those occasions, we were told by the owner, in a very rude tone, to go outside and that we would have to wait on our own. At that point, we simply left. It's disappointing because after 10 years of being loyal customers, we really wanted to continue supporting the restaurant. Unfortunately, the service, attitude, and overall experience have changed enough that we no longer feel comfortable spending our Thursday nights there.

The bar was busy and full of customers, but there were still plenty of tables available. It took a little while for the bartender/server to get to us because of the crowd at the bar, but it was well worth the wait. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The fries and tater tots were cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and some of the best we've ever had! A nice personal touch was that the chef came out to check on us and make sure everything was good. The restrooms were also clean and well stocked, which is always appreciated.
