Specialty shops and small businesses like The Rally Shop are such gems. I don't know of any other store that has the expertise of The Rally Shop. Not to mention, the owner is often there and he is an Olympic badminton player who really knows his stuff about racquet sports. I came in looking for new badminton shoes and ended up nerding out over gear with the staff for over an hour. They have such a clean shop and setup with even a huge TV with live sports on all the time. This place is such a great spot to hang out if you are waiting for your racquet. Not to mention it felt really nice and comfortable since it has been extremely hot all week but they blast AC in the shop. I will be coming back for all of my badminton needs! Shoutout to the owner, Howie Shu! read more

Not sure why I'm writing a review now - I've been to The Rally Shop a handful of times and it's quickly become my go-to shop for anything badminton related. They have anything you could need from equipment and supplies to clothing and accessories and are knowledgeable at helping you pick items to get you exactly what you need. The shop itself is also nice to be in, a sleek, clean design with a TV area broadcasting current tournaments. Howard is in the shop quite often and is always friendly to talk to - he's played in the Olympics twice he knows what he's talking about, whether it's the equipment, competing, or just sports in general. Highly recommend! read more

Here's a polished version that keeps your personality while making it concise and engaging: Where do I even start? This is the kind of place your grandpa would reminisce about when he talks about how customer service used to be. Top-level service from start to finish. Every member of the staff was not only friendly but clearly an expert in their craft. I needed a grommet for my tennis racket that wasn't in stock, and Howard, the owner, searched for it right in front of me, had it shipped to the shop, and even followed up with text messages to make sure everything was taken care of. That kind of attention is rare these days. When I came back to pick it up, the entire team was just as welcoming. I later found out Howard is an Olympian in badminton, but you'd never know it from the way he treats people. No ego--just genuine kindness and a passion for helping others. I have tennis shops much closer to my house, but I'll gladly make the drive to come here from now on. Thanks to the whole team! read more

Amazing Pickleball Experience & Great Customer Service! My husband and my son went to The Rally Shop yesterday for the first time, and they were so amazed by how Han took care of them and helped them find the right pickleball gear. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made their first visit such a great experience. We came back again today, and we got new pickleball shoes and I got my new Selkirk Omni Widebody Pickleball Paddle! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Howard. Once again, Han was very helpful -- she guided us on what shoes are best for pickleball, answered all our questions, and made sure we felt confident with our choices. If you love Tennis, Badminton, or Pickleball, this is definitely the place to go! They have great gear, great advice, and you can even rent a pickleball paddle if you want to try one before buying. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, but special shout out to Han for going above and beyond and making our experience extra special. The store has such a nice atmosphere when you walk in, and you can feel that they truly care about their customers and the sports community. We will definitely be coming back here for all our pickleball needs! Thank you The Rally Shop, Howard, and Han! read more

Walking into The Rally Shop, the first thing I noticed was how clean and well-organized everything was. While it isn't a huge store, the layout makes great use of the space, and there's an impressive selection of equipment for tennis, badminton, and pickleball. We came in specifically looking for badminton gear, and there were plenty of rackets and accessories to browse through. What really stood out was the owner. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain the differences between the various rackets, and helped us narrow down the best options based on our experience level and playing style. There was never any pressure to buy the most expensive option, just genuine advice from someone who clearly enjoys the sport. One of the best parts of the experience was the rental program. It made it easy and affordable to try different rackets before committing to a purchase, which gave us much more confidence in our decision. It was very nice that the rental fee was included into the price of the racket that we were going to get. Whether you're brand new to badminton or already play regularly, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. Great selection, excellent customer service, and a welcoming environment made this a fantastic first visit. read more

This is by far the cleanest and most well-stocked badminton shop I've ever been to. I've always been incredibly picky about who strings my rackets, but I was visiting from the Bay Area and needed to strings my rackets so I can play during my visit. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable across the board. Not only was the turnaround time quick, but the quality of the stringing was incredible. The tension was spot-on and felt really crisp on every shot. For context on how satisfied I am, I've only ever trusted two other stringers in my life. This is now my go to spot for all of my badminton needs in Southern California. You got a customer for life. Well done Olympian Howard and team read more

Recently new to the pickleball world, and wanted to speak with someone about different paddles amongst a sea of different brands. Doing research online can be a little skewed because many people are sponsored by certain companies. So we found this place on Yelp. We were greeted with amazing customer service and his name was Howard S. He was able to explain the different paddles and sizes and shapes very detailed oriented, which helped me dial in and choose a paddle that I wanted. So I went with the joola 4 and I played with it the same day, I'm so happy with the choice that I made. The other amazing thing that Howard did for us, he was able to wrap the handle with some over wrap. Honestly, there's plenty of stores that sells paddles but not every store has 10/10 customer service and I highly recommend buying from Howard and supporting small businesses. read more

The Rally Shop has got to be the best tennis shop in Southern California. You might not have heard of them because they are very new but I have been looking for the new Yonex Vcore 98 tennis racquet and they were the only ones to have it in stock. I was able to order online which was super convenient and select in-store pickup. When I got to the store, my racquet was strung up freshly with Polytour Pro just how I wanted it. What caught my eye was their amazing selection of tennis racquets. Not only did they have the Vcores, but they also had a healthy amount of Ezones which have also been sold out at most other stores. The staff here is super helpful. In-store pickup was seamless and just overall a great shopping experience. I will be coming back for all of my tennis needs. read more

I came to The Rally Shop for their grand opening in Anaheim. I was super excited because my boyfriend and I are into Badminton, Tennis, and Pickleball- and this place has everything! The store was super clean and had neon purple lights on the wall. I loved the layout of the store and rackets. The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Howard was super attentive to our needs. Great spot if you are seeking expert advice and great quality equipment. They even offer professional racket stringing services in their store! You can even customize your own color preference. There is a large parking lot which makes it stress free to come in. Pricing is great too if you're not planning on spending too much. You get what you pay for in quality and the selections are plentiful. Will be coming back soon! read more

Recently I got back into tennis and I am so happy that I discovered The Rally Shop. They had a great selection of rackets and I was able to pick up a new Tecnifibre T-Fight and Wilson RF01 at great prices and they even waived the stringing labor fee on my new rackets. They carry much more strings than other places and I was able to do a hybrid set of new Toroline swings which feel absolutely amazing! Everything about this shop just shows their attention to detail. When my rackets were ready, I even received an automated text message from their system so I didn't have to call to check or ask when it was ready. Such a great convenience and they even put a little sticker on my racket with all of my stringing details. Highly recommend this shop to any fellow tennis players! read more

The service was excellent. They have paddle demo for you to try out before committed to buy an expensive one.

Best racket sports shop around!! Can't go wrong with them, best staff, super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. 10/10 on every category.

This place was such a serendipity, theres restringing service , and even a rent-à-racket service which you don't see in many other places, you can literally rent, say, and Astrox 100zz for $5/day, and even more awesome is my friend told me that former(?) Olympian Howard Shu opened the shop - i thought that was so cool, because I could ask about string tensions, types of rackets, and get genuinely good advice on those things as I'm not familiar w those things, the staff was awesome too - helping me wherever they could. Shops like this keep the badminton culture alive and I love that ! read more

I recently got back into tennis and really happy to have this great shop nearby. They've helped with restringing and expanding my grip with heat shrink. The demo program is great. They have the top rackets at only $5/day. The lady (unfortunately didn't catch her name) here is always patient and very helpful. They offer discounts on their rackets. I would definitely buy my new racket here but unfortunately they don't stock my grip size. Highly recommend this shop read more

Howard and his crew were incredibly patient, friendly and answered all our beginner badminton questions; there was absolutely no sales pressure whatsoever. We were able to demo all the latest racquets and ended up buying two (including an Astrox 100ZZ that was sold out on the Yonex site). Also grabbed grips, a bag, shuttlecocks, and had everything strung based on his recommendations. You can tell he really knows the sport inside and out, and he makes sure you leave with the setup that fits you best. The store also has a large selection of tennis and pickle ball gear, which I also ended up picking up a Wilson RF01 Pro tennis racquet. Howard is super humble, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about helping players at any level. This store has everything you could possibly need at extremely fair prices! I rarely write reviews, but The Rally Shop is absolutely worth recommending for all your racket sport needs! read more

I recently picked up pickleball with my dad and I desperately wanted to upgrade my paddle. Stumbled into the rally shop because Big 5 didn't have any of the gen 4 of newer paddles. Very happy that I did! They had all sorts of paddles from Selkirk and Joola which were the two main brands I was considering and even had limited edition color Boomstiks. I ended up getting a Gen 5 Joola after the staff patiently explained each paddle to me and even let me try and feel their demo paddles. In the back area of the shop they also had a good selection of shoes which I'll be back for next time. I loved the overall vibe of the shop, it's clean, organized and energy was just great, highly recommend to anyone in the area. read more

Loved my experience at the Rally Shop! I was in the market to replace my 10+ year tennis rackets and since it's been awhile I was super appreciative of their staff for walking me through all of my options (there was A LOT) so even more points for being so patient with me. Once I finally made my choice (Yonex EZONE 100), using their in-house stringing service was so fast. It was easy to peruse while I waited and even inspired me to purchase pickleball gear! I purchased the siz zero paddles but also liked the Joola and Crbn also. Plenty of parking in this plaza was a plus! Will definitely be coming back for all my tennis and pickleball gear in the future! read more

The Rally Shop is outstanding. Howard and all the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and clearly know their products inside and out--they take the time to understand what you are looking for and make thoughtful recommendations. Their selection of pickleball gear is excellent, with a wide range of paddles, accessories, and options for different play styles and skill levels. It's obvious a lot of care goes into curating what they carry. First time I have ever utilized a rental service as well and that was a good experience, as it has positively influenced my selection of paddles. (I now have picked up 4 paddles from here lol) If you're serious about pickleball (or tennis or badminton), this is the kind of shop you want supporting you. I've been coming to The Rally Shop for a bit now, and every visit has been great.
